my aunt bought a a pretty heavy bridal from roop in saddar, pindi in dec for 30,000 and it was not light on kaum. even the bride thought it was quite 'bhara'
If u can ask someone from Karachi to get u a bridal dress then u can get a bridal wear for even less than 30k in Mehboob Bukhsh (Saddar) and Allah wala market. I know most of the people over here wouldn't go there but u will get things in ur budget over there .
If we have to buy the lehenga from karachi in this range then which shop and place will u people recommend?

i m getting married aft 3 mnths.. and need to get my bridal dress...but my range is not more than 40 thousand...i m planning to design it myself...but want to knw if some one knws from where i can get cheaper but neat work done....like any bazar...i m in lahore...thanx in advance... :)

i hav a option to take my own design and get it made from jhlm....as work there is neat...but they dnt have good design...but i want to get it done in lahore..as it will help me.

llxxll..... go to Gulf or Kehkashan, they do all kinds of kaam (including nazuk kaam).
Kehkashan is better (they copy designers very well) but more expensive.
I've heard there are good shops on Tariq Road too who will do custom embroidery for you, but I haven't been to those.

You can check out duppata gali( back side of liberty market gulberg) there u wil find plenty.. Plenty kaam wala, look at their designs or show them yours , they r very talented ,can copy almost any design, u MUST bargain.... B4 placin order do look at other shops for same kaam and get idea , as price vary shop to shop as front walay tend be expensive.
Other than tis if u don't mind crowded packed places go to rung mahal and ichara ( they wil be little less expensive as I heard).

Do go through above thread , its really useful .
Go to Anarkali, the quality of the work is much better than Ichra. Also, there are several shops that make good copies of designer bridals so their karigars are talented at copying designs.
Anarkali is also much cheaper than liberty.
