you can most definitely get one for that price, so worry not. you will have to do a LOT of shopping around to find one though. try dupatta gali in lahore.

I can give you the best advice ever..lol..this is what i did with my bridal.it was under 30 k back in october 2006. I loved karma borders and wanted a simple lehnga with all karma border on dupatta,shirt,lehnga with big round motifs spray.I got a red shirt neckline and sleeves made from liberty as a sample for what material,colour,pattern of border i wanted on my lehnga,bought the fabric from al-fajr in cavalry ground,took that shirt sample and my fabric to rang mahal and told them to copy that border for my lehnga WITHOUT putting in their DESIGNING into it.the bad thing about shops at rang mahal is that they put in wierdest designs and colours despite using good material and cheap making charges.kaam at liberty is good patterns but expensive.so,it all worked really well for me.but those trips to rang mahal in july-august were a nightmare.I had to have few extra trips since they forgot to do the motif spray first and then when they didnt do the back neckline border..but it was all worth it in the end since i dont fit in that dress anymore and wore it once to my sister's mehndi.hope that helps :)

Just out of curiousity, if you were to shop at places like rabi centre or so in tariq road, wouldn't that cost you less? Also, my aunt was mentioning this other place, I think mehboob market or so. I haven't been to pak for many years so maybe I'm livin under a rock...

than check her facebook group its for 35.000rs i think its nice for this price but i saw alot more desighnes in Anarkali from lahore but damm u have to bargain with them.

Ofcourse you can my khala got her bridal lehnga for 25000 or 30,000 from Fashion Ka ghar in Islamabad 2 years ago :)

yes u can find in lhr.. but i think it wont be THAT embellished

but yes, i think u can find a gr8 lehngna in that range... just like others said, u'll have to look around a lot n ofcourse BARGAIN is the key :)

heyyy,r u intersted in buying the used lehnga??i mean used only once,,,,its cost was 40000 but u can hv it in 20000...the color is tea pink.

30,000 isnt just that less an amount if your not looking for the designer stuff. Even here in Multan we get some WONDERFUL dresses in that range. Its just about hunting the markets. YOu can well have a nice dress in lhr or anywhere else.

^That's true. One of my friends who lived in Lahore before she got married had her kaam done in Multan.

She bought nice fabric (good quality, got her tailor in Lahore who's also very good to do the cutting and stitching but gave it to a shop in Multan to have the embroidery done as it was a lot cheaper there than in Lahore.

I don't know how much it cost but I do know that she wanted to keep the cost down as much as possible.

It is very much possible to get some thing really pretty made in 30k but you need to know the right places and have some designer skills. There are many fabolous bridal shops in the old lahore(walled city) where you can get a bargin on the most prettiest stuff. I do not remember the name of that particular bazar (may be someone in lahore may know) but there is one called Kashmiri bazar and also you can go to anarkali. There is usually a big price difference on the same stuff depending where you get it from. Liberty, cavelary and defence markets will be more expensive as compared to the places in old city. It may be more hassel to go to those places though but again with the crazy traffic in Lahore it usually is a big hassel to go anywhere.
