Just get your natural nails manicured nicely. Acrylic nails seldom look good, and haven't been "in" for at least 15 years.

Don’t get acrylics! They look so tacky! However a very natural French mani with beige/nude pink as a base and a dull white as the tip can look awesome!

these look acrylicy but I like the tone of the polish. It’s soft and subtle. I would definitely change the length and shape of the nails though.

im going to get acrylics done in pakistan if i can just before my wedding (wedding will be out there)
going to have the manicure look for my mehndi and then have nail polish for the wedding i think!

Nail polish for the Barat and a french manicure/acrylics for the Walima. Get best of both worlds :)

Oooohh noo don't go for acrylics in Pakistan! Pakistani nail people don't do a good job if your used to getting your nails done from back home. In all of my cousins weddings, so far their nail jobs were very badly done, at least in my experience, I would definitely suggest doing it before you leave for Pak. Its not the same kind of nail job they do over here in North America...

only problem is im flying from uk to pakistan 6 weeks before my wedding! so no point getting them done from uk because by the time my wedding comes round they would have started to grow out...............

Ohh okay! Well in that case, try and find out about a good place while your there. I only say that because all of the experiences I have while I been in Karachi and got my nails done, or my cousins who were married were getting it done...its not the same as it is done here. And also if anything, I would suggest a colour as opposed to french if your not feeling confident about it. :)

Or if you MUST get acrylics, buy them before hand and ask them to put them on in Pakistan. You can get some made from a salon or buy them from a store.

I like the short, clean painted nails this time around.. the french just looks a little too porn star-ish to me now… not that I watch porn :astaghfarrrr:

OMG! Exactly what I was going to say! Frenchies w/ acrylics do look too pornstary.

hm natural french manicure on mehndi (natural means natural!! not these long too much squared nails wid glitter or blue/red/or wateva colour)
french manicure looks ugly when u go for long "pornnails" then u have dark mehndi on ur hand...that doesnt match..for me mehndi means sumthing "innoncent" it shuld give that look...
but nice golden, light colours also looks nice..it really depends on ur hands...
