Im probably going to leave mine french for the mehindi, i was thinking of painting my nails a nice burgundy for the barat and waleema, but my barat outfit is going to be pale green, is burgundy nail polish going to look ok with it?

i love nail polish wid mehndi and ewww i hate french manicure cause ma nails tip is white and lot better thn frnch manicure cause when i grow ma nails long and apply nail shiner it looks butiful :jano:

I don’t like OTT nail art. A little flower or dots are fine but not designs the overwhelm the entire hands as they already have rings, bangles and mehndi.

i second your opinion shanice "you could try acrylics with a french manicure design and a swavorski crystal on each nail…..or nail art to match the colour of ur outfit, i personally like the 1st pic.....n it wudnt look bad if u had mehndi done aswell"

Okay, I love a subtle French mani as long as it's not done on tacky acrylics. Just grow your nails slightly and do a French mani, it'll go for all the days. Or if you want to paint your nails a certain dark color (say red to match your lehnga) then do. Not. Get. Your. Fingertips. Mehndied. Up. Leave them simple because nailpolish plus mehndi tips do not mesh.

what do you guys think about gel nails ?

honestly speaking i really don't know the difference between acrylic and gel nails

I wanna go for something that last a good few days, without me being scared i am gonna scratch or break my nail etc

what solid treatment would you guys recommend for french manicure , gel or acrylic ? or something else ?
