depilex's makeup is always topnotch. Sabs also does a great job. I've seen quite a few cousins get their makeup from depilex especially and they do amazing smokey-eye/pale lip makeup.

I went to Cistre at the Karachi Sheraton and was very pleased with the way they treated brides as well as with the overall look and finish of the makeup. Everyone really liked it.

Also, in the end what matters is how they look in hte pictures.. Most experienced bridal makeup artists know how something will turn out in the photography… the wedding day itsself is only 2 days, but the pictures are what last forever…My wedding day makeup was VERY heavy but only because I"m not used to wearing so much at all (barely one layer of powder, etc), but I dint really care much, because I know it’d come out great in the pictures (which it did :blush:

my sis in law n one of my friend told me dat beautician Shams in Zara's beauty parlour is too good she does amazing work n i have also seen her brides they were pretty good n i have also seen Allenora n Sabs makeup on net n i liked their makeup. I have also seen Rizwana (the owner of Zara's) makeup n her makeup is excellent specially eye makeup.My best friend got her Valima make up done from Rizwana ( Zara's) and she looked AMAZING! plz tell me which is the best in Khi??? and also tell their charges

to be honest.. it depends on what make up suits u... that's why most girls have trials done.... i had my engagement make up done by rizwana at zaras and i hated it.. in person i was UGLY.. pics i was passable... which i found so silly cuz there was a valima bride and a barat bride getting their make up done too .. and they looked amazing...

for my wedding i had it done at Bhabis.. and i loved it... not at all overdone like zaras.... so i think in the end.. just hope wherever u go, they do make up that suits u and ure facial features... dont think there is any parlour that can guarantee 100% satisfaction with each and every of their brides.

btw: been hearing some pretty awful stuff bout sabs concerning girls getting their services done and getting videotaped :|

would by any chance have pictures of any other brides who've gotten their makeup done from Cistre ...that is if you dont feel comfortable showing your own :).....I really want a good make-up job for my wedding......do you know if they do good smokey eyes for weddings?

Nabila's is good, Bushra na n ALtaf both are excellent, so is shaheen and saima
