I’d go for a charcoal greyish smokey eye (slightly dark wiht a touch of pinky/silvery shimmeR) and light pink lips

I'm surprised your eyes weren't emphasized at Cistre -- it definitely was the focus of my make-up. But I guess they adapt to everyone's face and clothes. Don't discount them tho.

Go for a berry or mauveish lipstick without shimmer.

i will be heading to karachi in a few weeks and i wanted to know about good salons there for facial, haircutting, waxing, hair treatments etc. i heard nabilas is really good for haircutting but i saw some pics and i wasnt too satisfied. i would really appreciate it if u guys can guide me on where to go and stuff. thanks!

Are you asking for wedding stuff, or daily? For my wedding I went to Cistre in the Karachi Sheraton and was very happy with the result.

well this friend of mine maryam has been trained from ravissant and a few UK places and has been doing hair colors and cutting, treatments everything. She's very very good. i can show you my streaks and cut to get an idea of how good she is if you want. Just pm me....if interested

Diplex is also good with reasonable prices compared to the ones i stated above....check it out its somewhere in tariq road...There is also may fair near teen talwar/gulf which is reasonable in prices and the work is satisfying as well

what are the good places to go to in Karachi
im planning to go to alle nora for one day but want to go to a diff place for the second day id like to look a little diff. id gone to allenora for my engagement day aswell
also if someone has pics it would be nice if i could see them.

You could go to all the usual places.. ie Sabs, Shamain, Tariq Amin, Depilex, Cistres
I actually took another route after researching all of these options. My cousin had her makeup done by this lady who has a salon/boutique right off Zamzama called Hubsch. Shes trained several places abroad and she did an incredible job on my cousin so I went with her.
The results were fantastic, she really knew her stuff and nicest thing was that she takes only one or two brides a day so she does the makeup herself. When I got there, she closed the bridal section of the salon and spent the next 3 hours just on me.
I got the most compliments on my makeup on the wedding day, everyone was asking where I had gotten it done.
