i visited almost every parlour in khi n all of them refused to give me trial.. i have booked MArquillage (shagufta ijaz) saloon.. the lady who does makeup there is my friend's friend.. still she refused me :( . .she said u have to book us first then when u'll come for the first visit i.e. for facial pedicure etc then we'll give u trial makeup..

smughal, why did you choose MArquillage (shagufta ijaz) saloon? Since, I have never heard about it, I would like to know more regarding their work, prices and location.
Did you book the saloon only for the wedding? Do they have bridal services with the make up?
I just found out that Sab's Saloon is having a special packages for Ramzan like Whitening Facial for Rs 2000/= (normally they have it for Rs 3500/-) and a combination of Manicure, Pedicure and Face Polish for Rs 1500/-. Do you think that would be a good choice for a December bride-to-be? She wants to start a skincare regime as soon as possible.
^ Sabs does nice bridal makeup, but no one in Pakistan will give u trials =( if her skin is in good condition already (no pigmentation, acne etc) she shud leave it alone as facials cud cause her to break-out. However, she cud try a couple home-remedies or perhaps begin using a good quality ubtan.
Get u're sister to start eating well and drinking plently of fluids. She shud take a tablespoon of honey (extremely rich in iron) everyday too.

i always wanted to go for Sabs when tayabba used to work there.. saba's makeup is not very good.. (wht i have seen) .. tayyaba is now married so she has left sabs.. tayabba's sister works in marquillage n she has learned all the makeup techniques from her sister tayabba.. i have seen her work which was very good.. besides that she is my friend's friend so kaffe khayal kar rahe hai woh..
i gonna book her for valima as well coz my fiance is very impressed by her work and he thinks i should go for him takke woh dono din tohra different look de..
bakke its all about luck u know.. lots of things matter .. ur dress jewellary, how u carry urself n everything.. i have seen very good brides from very good salon n also their bad work..

I think Akif Ilyas will be the only one out of the good makeup artists that might even consider going to someones home. however, anything can be done there with the right sum of money.

Sadfari sister of my friend got her Nikah makeup by Bhabhi's ,she is very beautifull but makeup by Bhabhi's was not very good n old style type makeup , i didnt like that at all,n bride khud bhe makeup ki waja say upset hogai thi then 4 Rukhsati she booked Zara's,Nighat at Zara's did her makeup n she did an amazing job bride looked very very stunning MA ,makeup was very good.her dress colour was pink n silver kaam on it,so bride ka smokey eyes makeup n natural lipstick wid very glowing n nice base tha.
i heared Mrs Azmat's (at Boat Basin) makeup is amazing,i saw her model n bridal makeup in sum magazine ,i think magazine was Me n My wedding or She .

Asma at Depilex, Karachi is quite good. I really liked her style.
