yeah i heard she's crazy like that about trials and not letting you look. I could never do that...i would be having a panic attack.
But thats a good idea. I was thinking of going to her and getting party makeup done by her for the next wedding I go to. Lemme know how your engagement makeup turns out!!

MAC does excellent eye makeup its just too good but i will def. let u nw how my eng. makeup comes out but if you go and get party makeup from her before the end of march please share pix and ill do the same my eng is on march 27th will shre pix afterwards!!

I booked the MAC makeup artist. She did an amazing job...she did two looks for me and both of them looked really good. It really looked like a desi lady did my makeup...but without all the cakey-ness. And at least with her I'll have a peace of mind the day of my wedding rather than wondering how the makeup will turn out.

hey guys .. i've booked raheela for the barat function.. but i m still not satisfied .. n for walima my in laws want me to find someone in LI .. i checked out humaira's .. rubby .. from rubby i even got trial make up done .. i looked like a clown.. n Aam8282 do u live in LI?? can u tell me how much do they charge for the make up?? did u pay anything for the trial??

The MAC makeup girls name is Joey and her cell is 908-468-7737 and the MAC makeup counter where she works is at menlo mall and their number is 732-549-2076.

I'm located in central NJ and my wedding is here as well so it wasn't a problem for her to travel. She might be willing to travel to LI, just ask her.
If you get your makeup done at the MAC counter (whether its the trail or for the actual day) its the same policy - you have to buy $50 worth of products, doesn't matter what they are.
For my wedding she's going to be travelling to where I am and she's charging me $175. Every free lance MAC artist has different rates. And for my sister and others she's charging $75.

I wouldn't go with Raheela or Ruby if you don't feel comfortable with their work. I think almost every other MAC makeup artist can do a better job than those women. They just don't understand the concept of "less is more"....I've never had a good experience with any paki makeup lady....but i haven't tried Naushaba yet...she might be good. My friend got her makeup done from her and she looked pretty.
Now I am hearing good and bad things abt Raheela's beauty parlour.....Does anyone have pictures of her work? and Does she have a webpage?

im getting my engagement makeup from Naushaba this coming friday (inshAllah) she no longer lives in jersey city she moved to new brunswick...it was a mission finding her # since she recently moved and her # changed! keep in mind she doesnt do trials for anyone...i want to book her for my wedding but since i cant get a trial thought get eng. makeup to see how well she works with my face!
