Re: Formal Wear from Lahore based designer
^yes, most definitely. he's aware everyone has different budgets and he always tries to do his best. if something won't look good with the changes you are making he will tell you and why.
have a read of the changes i'm making for myself on the white outfit. i'm cutting down the kaam but getting more expensive material, he's charging Rs.19,000 ($235).
the kaam really was the best i saw in Liberty main and i'm not just saying it. as you know, this is where i got my wedding stuff from for that very reason.
for the red one you could just have a plain back and just the pati on the daamun with no kaam. and/or get rid of the second border around the round part of the neck and do bring up the circle motifs around the V area to touch the first border.
oh my god stoppit STOP IT!
will you hit me if i post more later? :(

Re: Formal Wear from Lahore based designer
what is grip?
what is grip?
it's a type of material that's quite popular now for shalwars and stuff. it's kinda like a cross between chiffon and silk and it's preferred because it gives a nice fall and matches well with the look of chiffon outfits as opposed to using silk. it's most likely a synthetic fabric.
p.s the trousers in that above pic are in grip.

^ i thought there are two kinds of grip: synthetic & pure. i'm not sure, though...
Re: Formal Wear from Lahore based designer
^lol, yea, i was going to put i think it's most likely synthetic. but then i thought, if it's real too, what it is? it can't be 'grip'. like viscose can be synthetic or cotton viscose.
