exactly.. the al jazeera video shows them to be just walking around casually holding guns, shooting.. surprising how they could escape. i hope they have caught some of them and are currently experiencing chilli danda rectums.

You know, this might be a wonderful opportunity for you guys to finally put your hands up and fix the virulent strain of islamic terror which is a threat to civilized people everywhere so I suggest you stop trying to blame RAW, India and everybody else but work on trying to fix it.

Your country's future and pretty much the next 50 years of the world will depend on the choices you make today and I hope for all of our sake that you make the right one.

Arun, this so called Islamic terror is a gift of Henrey Kessinger and Ronald Reagon if you know the history. Please flip some pages of history and you would will have a better handle on Zia's role in creating a next 'Enemey of the States' for the States. If you have not heard of Mr. Zia ul Haq, you are missing a lot believe me, there are very few characters in nations like that. Pakistan had many but this was an exceptional.

I am shocked and ashamed. I have no words to describe this disgusting attack by low life morons. Hope everyone of them is captured and hanged.

SL came to support Paksitan cricket and now these animals have destroyed everything. No one and quite rightly will tour Pakistan for a very long time.

Shame on us and my apologies to the SL team and Sri Lankan nation.

I know my history smooth_guy, I know about Reagan, I know about Kissinger I know how America cut their nose to spite their face in the 80's in Russia. However, the issue is not about Reagan and Kissinger.

The only thing I am talking about right here is posters blaming India and RAW for this. Do you really think this was done by India? If you do, then I have nothing more to say to you.

However, if you on the other hand realize that the screws up in Afghanistan, added with the Wahhabi form of Islam started by the Saudis are now a threat for all of us and we do need to something about it.

All you Indian posters are jumping up and down about being accused while cast your mind to Mumbai and how Pakistan was blamed within minutes of the attack and without any proof at that time. So why protest now. maybe India is involved maybe not but just as you think they cannot there is a possibility that they are. RAW is not an angel and they are not sitting in Afghanistan just to drink tea and have a vacation.

well populated area only helps them in getting away. It was sort of Ambush and I dont believe forces who were there for the safety of SL team actually went after the terrorists once they flee instead they remained at their main job (and rightly so).

UPDATE:

Just saw SL team boarding Pak Army helicopter in Gaddafi Stadium. Players were relax (in fact you can see 2-3 of them laughing which at least confirm that no one from them is seriously injured). First they all boarded the chopper but hen around 4-5 came out and took pictures and made movie with chopper ....They are on their way to Lahore Airport from where they will go to UAE.

The guy is a hero. No two ways about it.

Such modesty about what he has done.

He continued driving the bus through the hail of fire until he reached the stadium. He says a grenade went off but only after he had driven over it.

No wonder Dominic Cork praised the bus driver profusely on TV for saving the lives of the players.

I have no words to describe this horrific incident :(

I feel ashamed as a Pakistani for the first time...SL toured PAK when no other leading nation in the world would...and this is what they get for it.

I feel sorry for Dominic Cork...I was actually gonna open a thread about him and how he's been vocally supporting the return of international cricket back to Pakistan during the last test match and this test match as well. His comments after this attack were that he will never come back to Pakistan untill he's alive :( I dont blame him..I'd do the same if I was in his place.

This goes to show the incompetent government we have in the country and the losers we have running the PCB.

During Nasim Ashraf's tenure...many international teams toured PAK without any problem and there were more bombs exploding at that time.

Goodbye to international cricket in Pakistan for at least a decade.

I wish it was hatred but sadly it cant cure a thing.

Face it. Your security systems can not provide safety to international sportsperson. Officials and visiting players are not safe in Pakistan and I definitely dont see anybody visiting Pakistan to play for a long duration.

And you really think Cricket can be played in a country like yours where fielders may not have to just catch the ball or play the shots but also duck bullets and bombs at the same time?

Get real and accept the facts. Its the laxity and incompetence on part of your government, security officials and systems that has led to this. Add to that a certain few who seek attention through such cowardly act.

And mark my words, I dont see cricket being played in pakistan for a very very very long time now.
