LAHORE: Several Sri Lankan cricket players were shot and wounded on Tuesday when their bus came under fire in Pakistan’s Lahore, their manager Brenden Kurrupu told AFP. Five policemen have been killed in the firing, according to reports.

ohh..my god that is terrible news...Anyway that was expected long ago....Ravi sastri is reporting that six police were dead.. several players seriously injured.....
It is a very sad news. About 6 srilankan players injured. Where this world is going. Hell to these animals. They are not humans they are worse then animals, whoever they are.

Looks like someone is trying to completely destroy Pakistan Cricket. Seriously, ever since that dog attacked on Sheraton Hotel in Karachi on first day of New Zealand test, I have this feelings that this is deliberately done. In that attack too, only windows of the players room were shattered who were staying in PC accross the street, but their bus waiting for players were affected nonetheless. The timing was such that most of the players were getting ready, so nobody was really hurt, but that scared away the foreign teams ever since.

Extremely sad indeed. And this completely vindicates Australia's and India's stand of not playing in Pakistan. And completely makes a mockery of those saying terrorists never have and never will attack cricketers.
So where all of those critics like Imran Khan and Shahid Afridi who criticized the Indian team for not coming.

FYI, This in fact proves that security was really tight as PCB said. SL players (sadly though) inflicted few injuries but Pakistani security personals gave their lives (at least 6 police commandos dead) to save SL players. I salute those guys.
Its hard to STOP these incidents and best you can do is save the target that they were able to do....

UPDATE:
Lahore Commissioner just came out after visiting hospital and confirmed that only couple of players (Taranga and Samaravera) are now being treated in hospital and they are stable and non-serious. Pakistani Umpire and other 3 police officials are currently being operated and Dr are trying to bring them in stable condition.
Samaravera has bullet injury in hip rest of the injuries were not due to bullet penetration but due to broken glass etc.

this is so against Pakistan. at least i cant believe that Raw is not behind all this (sorry to indian guppies, but no one can kill their own future with their hands).
