I never watch Fox News thanks, I mostly get my news from the BBC.. So far, no-one has been able to explain why the Taliban are also saying Osama is dead, so are they part of this conspiracy as well????

I hope you realise most of these groups claim responsibility for all kinds of things. They just need more propaganda to escalate their status. Osama Bin Ladin dying is one hell of a bait. Why wouldn't the Taliban use it?

Well Nomi, I trust the BBC.. I guess you're going to say they can't be trusted either.. In fact I'm guessing you're going to say that about any mainstream media source so I'm out of this thread.. I don't for one minute believe the US/UK govs always act in the best interests of their public rather than their own greed but I do believe Obama is dead.. Those who label everything a conspiracy (this, the attacks in Mumbai when a lot of ppl on here were convinced the terrorists were actually Indian and it was just a plot to discredit Pakistan etc) are just as bad as those on the other end of the scale who blindly support their own govs (and no, I'm not one of them, I never believed we went to Iraq to 'liberate' it or find Osama or whatever the hell the reason was)..

Yes, course they do but in this case I don't see the benefit, in fact it's more usual to pretend that leaders like Osama are alive and appear healthy as it helps their fighters keep up their morale and of course makes the group itself look stronger to the outside world.. They could be lying now but to me it's far more likely that they're not as they gain more by being associated with such a name.. Saying he's dead when he's not would make them look weaker imo..

Why are we still arguing over whether he's dead or not? He, along with various others whom I couldn't care to name, may rot in hell.
What I'm concerned about is Pakistan right now. If they invade my home, if more Pakistanis are to pay the price of this war with their lives, may Allah swt's wrath be upon these bloody politicians!!!

I remember the media in the past saying he might be dead a few times, but it was never widely reported in the mainstream that he had definitely been killed..

**It's been reported that the whole siege was filmed (via a camera on the helmet of one of the soldiers) and the sea burial was also filmed or photographed (can't remember which).. The BBC is saying it's likely some of the pictures or video footage will be released within the next few days..
