You really think someone whose parents have rejected a million Desi guys would just say Okay to any nonDesi muslim or muslim convert?
That is another matter entirely. It would be a matter of culture and preference, not statistics. Just because one does not like what is available, it does not mean that it is not there.
So in other words:
There are options other than Pakistani muslims but Pakistani women prefer not to look at those and prefer to remain within their own culture. Personally, I don't think there is anything wrong with this. People should at least be honest though, rather than claim that there is a "shortage" of decent Muslim men (as I've often heard women claim on here).

I get the point about increased pool, but in your simple example you forgot about the pool of non-desi women.

Nope, that's not at all what I meant. Read.my.posts.again! If you have a pool of 1000 men to choose from, and 100 of them are Desi muslims. Say you have been looking at the 100 Desi muslims but at some point you give up because you can't find the right guy or your parents don't approve of any desi guys in those 100 guys. Now, you have moved on to the 900 guys....the pool of 1000 men now becomes 900.

Statistics aside, I don’t know if this has been addressed already but:
When people have suggested that Pakistani women look outside of their culture if they are having trouble finding someone, they did not state that women should STOP looking within the Pakistani community, but rather that they ALSO look at other Muslim communities IN ADDITION TO the Pakistani community, rather like:
Pakistani guys + Muslim guys of other ethnicities = Pool of eligible men
The two are not mutually exclusive. One can look at Muslims of other ethnicities while continuing to look in the Pakistani community.

That's not how I looked at it theorist. Thats how everyone but yourself looked at it because that's how you described it. Not only was your explanation completely wrong but so was the manner in which you used your numbers.
Like I said you had described it differently, it would have been interpreted differently. Because what you are saying and what you'd like everyone to take from what you are saying are two completely different and contradictory statements.
