Just heard a breaking news at the Geo News that there has been a blast heard at the Danish Embassy. Some smokes are visible in the area.

The blast took place at an NGO office next to Denish Embassy. The building is all destroyed. Many cars are wrecked too.

There are reports of eight casualities now. And many more are injured.

Three killed in blast near Danish embassy in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: At least three persons were killed and five wounded in a huge blast near Danish embassy in F-6 II area in the Red Zone of the federal capital Islamabad on Monday.
The blast on Monday near the Denmark embassy shattered the vehicles parked in the area.
Huge clouds of smoke were seen over the area while a huge crater also witnessed.
Ambulances and relief teams were reaching to the place after the explosion and relief operation has been started.

It's sad for Pakistan and Pakistanis.
But Denmark and Netherlands alike should work real hard on developing an apologetic approach towards Muslims who have been hurt by defamation of Islam by their irresponsible "speech of freedom".

Some loon kills at least 8 including a child **but **Denmark and Netherlands should work hard because some privately owned newspapers printed images that offended Muslims, are you off your rocker??
I know it might be hard for those who live in Muslim country's to understand that western governments do not run newspapers in their countries; they are privately run not state run as common in Muslim country's. If it were a state owned newspapers who ran the cartoons you would have a point, but its not. Of course their are many state run newspapers in the Muslim world which run insulting cartoons and articles against Jews, but for some reason this does not matter, where are the riots against those (lol yea right)?
Let's be perfectly clear, the freedom to offended any religion is ones right and I have no doubt that because of this cowardly action by the bomber in Pakistan today we will see many more offensive cartoons aimed against Islam. I would suggest muslims not read them if you are offended.
Ironic isn't it that some of the offensive cartoons portrayed Muslims as violent and the response by some Muslims have been violence.

There were no immediate reports of casualties after the explosions, which happened shortly after midnight (1800 GMT), said the officials who are based in the region, AFP reported.
Officials in Islamabad said they had no details.
Missile attacks attributed to US-led forces in neighboring Afghanistan in the past have claimed the lives of several innocent people in Pakistan’s volatile tribal belt.
More than a dozen people were killed in a US air strike in the Bajaur tribal region in May and Pakistani military said it had lodged a protest with the US-led coalition over that attack.

Sad day for Pakistan. This thing about Danish Cartoon has gotten out of hand. If you live in Karachi, you know that the call for 'Jihad' and 'action' against these cartoons is written all over the walls. Just goes to show the anger inside a community, even if they are in minority.
We urgently need a conversation amongst ourselves because in the end Pakistan will suffer.

The difference of a third world country and a developed first country is freedom of expression.
The freedom to say or write what you want because that leads to the development of new thoughts and ideas.
If you start censoring, then soon you will not be able to say anything because everyone will be offended by something.

GEO saying that police think that the target of the suicide bomber was Musharraf. However when he failed to get through to the president house he targeted Denmark embassy.

The blast is sad. Anyhow brother, what GEO came up with, how it was known? Did those who are responsible of blast rang police to tell what happened, about their plan and change of plan because Musharraf did not turned up … or … was police themselves responsible of that blast and thus know about the plans? 
I think that government should start investigation with this news as cue and focus on personals in police who came up with this conclusion.
