Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms…

i feel bebos a multinickk

:hmmm:

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

^ can you please care to specify why you think that coz i guess i have my hands full to even come here and post for one nick .
And impulse why you assume that i won't have any knowledge of pills and other medications?? I can be a doctor or pharmacists or a medical personal. By the way i wasn't saying there is no side effects of contraceptive pills all i was saying there is side effect of every medicine.
i never denies the fact that it is a personal choice as any other thing in life.
AND again guy can not and should not make his wife to take pills but if she does and both agree that doesnt mean he doesnt care for her.

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

I think it's actually pretty shocking how little Pakistanis know about health issues. These are very serious issues facing the general population, whether you live in denial of them doesn't really matter. They will affect you.

Anil, menstruation starts in early adolescence, anywhere from age 9-14, usually. By that point most young girls should know what is happening to their bodies, and what CAN happen to them if they don't make smart choices. Education is a necessity. You're talking to women mostly older than this. There is absolutely nothing wrong with them being informed.

And, as Mehnaz said, just because it's called the "birth control pill" doesn't mean that is it's only purpose. It regulates female hormones. Many women have irregular periods or hormones that can cause serious health risks and the pill is given to alleviate these. You really need to be far more open-minded and do more research before passing judgement.

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

My opinion is: Tell girls that contraceptives exist and they prevent pregnancy. However, the in-depth research that some of the ladies have done here suggest that the girls here (and pardon the expression) "can't wait to get it on". Maybe I'm reading too much into it; but I'm of the opinion that sex is a topic that should remain taboo and not be discussed so openly.

Get on me if you like, but this is traditional thinking.

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

^if they dont know wat a contreceptive can do to thm how will they make a wise choice?
wats wrong with knowing about it?

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms…

Even after all the explanations given by women who are more educated and smarter than you, all your dirty mind can conclude is that a girl whos aware of how her body works and what’s available and the side effects of drugs, just has sex on the mind.

Don’t insult traditional values and traditional people with your backwards and ignorant and perverted thinking. Example: my mother is textbook traditional, very little education, never worked a day in her life, but she’s helluva lot smarter than you ever will be. Your opinions are not based in “traditional” values but rather the result of a dirty and frustrated mind. Of course since hte explanation came from alot of women here who are more educated than you and work, it’s just exactly in your line of thinking that they are just aching to have sex

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

i agree bro:) ....... ppl r giving way too much details and to tell u truth i m shocked how ''openminded'' most girls r and also at their know how about these topics and the fact that they don,t seem to have any prob discussing it with others:o ...........

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms…

Yes girls who have basic knowledge of sex and reproduction are just badmaash and too “open” and liberal..

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms…

Watch it, Sara bibi. I’ve taken your rants in the past as tongue and cheek but now you’re getting personal. Firstly, tell me how do you know what my education level is? Just because you’ve grown up with Jahil people around you doesn’t mean everyone you encounter is of the same breed. By the grace of Allah, I have enough education to put sex-starved girls like you in their place.

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

It seems like YOU are the one who was raised by jahil people, not me. No amount of "education" will wash away the filth from your mind and heart. I WILL thank Allah SWT that I am not a low-life like you with a filthy heart and mind.

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

^ Choro Sara yar; I'm not interested in starting a war of words with you. I don't like putting you or anyone else down; you just pushed the wrong button.

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

No I think YOU started it when you pretty much called any girl who "knows too much" sex-starved.
I read your journal; you're all talk, no substance. I hope you know what i mean.

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

every1 has their own views here so we shud just forget it

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

Sara, this is a classic case of desperate people projecting.

I hope you know what I mean.

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms…

comeon u call this basic knowledge …m almost 20 and know things which matter when it comes to sex ,i think:-| …and believe me what some ppl r discussing here ain,t some basic things which everybody should know:o …sex is taboo at home …we never talk about it …eventhough we r with 4 bros and don,t need to be that shy …and i never called some1 badmaash and nor do i think openminded ppl should care what some ignorant ppl like me have
to say:halo: …

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

I don't have to prove to you or anyone else how I'm trying to change myself. In that entry I said I would lose the un-neccessary hate that I have for non-muslims not that I'd be a pushover. If you're going to post something be strong enough to face retaliation. I'm not in the business of making other people look good by taking their insults.

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

Sorry to say, I do not understand this thread fully. What is the purpose. If someone is not married, he shouldn't be having any such defined thoughts about contraception. I cannot understand why the youngsters of today are so into sex and sexual knowledge. Okay, I can understand those who are married can have some questions, but this thread look like some sort of sexual talk than anything useful.

Re: Birth Control Pills and Condoms...

AnilKhan, Hussain
Ok now you two dont seem to understand really...explain the benfits of keepiong something taboo...by disucssion your promoting understanding not ignorance...how is ignorance a benefit to you?...

It seems to me that you have this attitude that sex is only for the purpose of procreation and that anyone that seeks to do the act simply for the sake of love or pleasure even if its with their spuse is dirty or immoral...jeez if Allah allows it then who the hell are you to disallow it...

Lahore981
Another strange point...we all intend to get married one day so whats the harm in seeking knowledge about it...preparation is better than being put in at the deep end...when you have an exam you prepare for it you dont just try and fluke it on the day...
