Ok now for people that arent married but are active…the usual process is that a male will always wear a condom…if not to prevent pregnancy to reduce the chances of STDs…its a neccesary evil cos obviously you would much rather go bareback…
Girls tend to hate the pill…but even if she was on the pill…a guy should wear a condom anyway…take your own precautions…dont rely on others…
Now for most boys when they get married…last thing they want to do is wear protection…so my question is regarding girls atttitudes to this…assuming your married…
Are you quite happy to go on the pill so he can enjoy himself fully?..
Do you insist on a condom cos you refuse to go the pill?..
Or do let nature take its course?..your married after all…
i am not about to take the risk of him not agreeing to sheath his manhood (sorry i had to say that...it just sounds funny), and then waking up preggos. i am going on the pill. screw what he thinks.
such as gaining weight…body hair…having mood swings…and even finding it harder to conceive later on and having complications in later pregnancies. theres a whole long list…i cant remember them all

weight gain: max...5 pounds. the rest that you gain is by sitting around and gorging on icecream
body hair: actually...if you are testosterone heavy, it actually helps with reduction of body hair
mood swings: nope...there aren't any. actually...what i found is that it actually calmed me down.
conceiving: my gynie, and many people here on GS said that there is not such thing. Perhaps if you are taking depo-prova or something, or anything that isn't taken orally, it might affect you. pills...don't.
suni sunai baaton par yaqeen nahin karna chahiye.
edit: forgot to mention..going longterm on the pill isn't recommended. docs recommend to take a year break or something. so, if you are taking it for family planning, i doubt that you will be taking it your whole life.
Anil, as far as I know the only birth control that is haram is anything that's permanent, like a vasectemy or a non-emergency hysterectomy/tubul ligation (not sure if its the same thing). But other methods, like pills or condoms or diaphrams, basically anything "temporary", as well as the natural/rhythm methods is ok.
Khumar, docs n users can say lal they want, but I personally wouldn't feel comfortable messing wtih pills. My friend worked in a pharmacy and told me some horror stories about Seasonal and other pills..
there are many birth control pills on the market (impulse you should know this) yes some have side effect (ie weight gain, bloating etc) if one pill doesnt work for you...you use the other one.
as far as not being able to get pregnant and having complications during pregnancy ..this is ALL a myth. Doctors wouldnt give you meds like this if it compromised having children....would have been off the market by now if it did.
