Wow you had it easy then! Lol! The first time I got it done, my lip was bleeding as I didn't realise how hard I had bitten it, my tears wouldn't stop, I felt like I was frozen and I was holding my breath constantly! I truly felt like I was having my insides ripped out or something! Now after a couple of years it isn't so bad anymore.
But how do some of you do a full wax down there all by yourself?!
Okay I don't understand all these names e.g. Hollywood wax or Brazilian wax - but at my beauty parlour a Brazilian wax means getting all the hair down there waxed off. The definition in that website above is different. :)

Gosh, I still remememer my first time! *Lol! *But I would still recommend it as you do eventually forget the pain...and its all nice and smooth down their like baby skin!

practice makes perfect! i have been waxing myself for years...and its great...dont wax right after your period or right before..your skin is verrrry sensitive during those days...
take a couple of advils 30 min before you start..
gigi cream wax (the salon i used to go to used this and it gave me perfect results..i just silently observed and started doing it on my own)
i use the white cloth strips, cut each strip in 3 pieces..its easier to wax smaller areas..
powder area before you wax..
after waxing, rub baby oil to remove all the wax..remember if you have oil on your body you cant wax..the wax wont stick....you ll have to wash and dry..powder then start again.
any redness, hydrocortisone cream takes care of it..
I never got a bikini wax and went for a brazilian some time after my wedding....i swear to GOD it didn't hurt as much as getting my arms and legs waxed..i think cz for the bz I went to a really good salon and paid an arm and a leg...whereas the arm/leg was done at a crappy desi parlor.

also...when you are warming the wax, make sure its the perfect consistency..
if its too thick, it will hurt when you remove the hair.
if its too thin, it wont pull the hair out properly.
If anyone knows there's a lady named Nagina in Clifton, Karachi....her homemade wax is simply the best wax ever...I dont have her number--maybe someone here has heard of her.
