as someone who's gone through both labour and a brazilian, i can definitely say that a brazilian is more like a 3-4 compared to labour being a 10!!

i dont know if it is available in pakistan or not.but i will definately look it up.i guess we all get used to the pain after some time.but i guess its better to get it done from someone for the first time. but tell me how long does your wax last.i mean after how long do u ppl rewax?
and tell me about electric shavers like braun silkpil or anyother are they worth it for legs and arms?

its best to start bikini/brazilian waxing as early as you can..not a couple of months before...
imo brazilian is much much better...doing it yourself is awesome since you can do touch ups anytime you want...go get it done by a pro for a few times..observe and learn..then do it yourself.. :)
gigi ( cream wax) is the best!!

bikini wax is not painful at all. brazilians however are a completely different story. on a scale of 1-10 they should be an 11 and labor pain probably 10 (ive never gone thru labor haha).

thanks chanda,i know its best to start as early as possible,so the growth of hair ultimately reduces over the period of time.but chosing the right parlour in pakistan is very important coz of non-hygenic conditions:(
but doing it on your own is the best option i guess

sumorani i also think brazilian waxing is the most painful thing ever,but i am amazed at lucky people who get immuned to the pain.

take a couple of advils 30 min before waxing! you wont feel too much pain.

Well it does kill but it is so worth it in the end! Hair comes out really fine and after a few years its not as painful and you won't have to get it done as often!

Wow you had it easy then! Lol! The first time I got it done, my lip was bleeding as I didn’t realise how hard I had bitten it, my tears wouldn’t stop, I felt like I was frozen and I was holding my breath constantly! I truly felt like I was having my insides ripped out or something! Now after a couple of years it isn’t so bad anymore.

But how do some of you do a full wax down there all by yourself?!

Okay I don’t understand all these names e.g. Hollywood wax or Brazilian wax - but at my beauty parlour a Brazilian wax means getting all the hair down there waxed off. The definition in that website above is different. :slight_smile:
