bhindi gosht.. recipe needed ASAP!

title says it all.

I need an easy and delcious bhindi gosht recipe quickly.

Also, how long does it take to make bhindi gosht?

Re: bhindi gosht.. recipe needed ASAP!

Gtg - honestly speaking, just look for a regular gosht karhai type recipe. The only thing that you have to do with bhindi is chop it up, fry it for like 10 minutes with a bit of oil and add to the gosht at the very end, and then just bhoon it for another 10 mins.

Moti,

Ye wali recipe dekhi hai?

The only thing I wouldn’t do is add the okra like she says, I think that way the bhindi will become too mushy and just dissolve…I think frying it will help retain it’s shape and it just tastes better fried. :cb:

Re: bhindi gosht.. recipe needed ASAP!

hehe Afia baji called me from Germany and gave me the recipe on phone.. I fried bhindi while I was talking to her so she was there to tell me when it take it out so the shape remains.

I marinated the lamb chops without yogurt… i just found a lamb chop with a sauce recipe on Fauzia’s website.. I guess I am going to try that one now.

thanks sehario

Re: bhindi gosht.. recipe needed ASAP!

I won't chop **bhindis *all the way...simply slash the heads slightly and thinly...so the holes don't get open...otherwise lots of gravy will enter into the *bhindis body which make it gooing...

Prefrying is a good idea...but microwave option is cool too...you can add* bhindis* into your gosht salan or serve on the side... :)
