Heard of miranwar. He was recently offering free engagement sessions for the flood victims of Pakistan. His work is very fresh and clean and is usually in toronto shooting weddings.

Our friends booked Imageworks Photo; anyone else book with them…we’re looking for a second opinion? Apparently limited experience with South Asian weddings, which is a concern, however prices sound reasonable.

I had Ross for two events last year and he was amazing. Ross does have a reputation but I think he is just the type of person who does not deal with BS from anyone. He knows he is one of the best photographers.
If you are nice with him he is nice with you... and that goes for anyone else you are dealing with, decorator, videographer, the hall, florist, etc.
He gave more time on the wedding than on the Rasm-e-hina. He took the model shots on the Rasm-e-hina and our best wedding photo was actually from that night (even though he gave less time). His assistant stayed until the end to take the rasm photos and he was very cooperative.
Ross was early on the wedding and he stayed until the end.
I made appointments with so many photographers when I was planning my wedding but Ross was the one who stood out for me.
Ross did not make a slideshow for our event because we did not have an engagement shoot with him. Our videographer made a slideshow for us.
Ross hired someone to edit our photos and I liked the way they were edited. We had a chance to see the photos before they were printed which was great.

Has anyone worked with Yasin Dusorath or seen any of his work? I'm looking for a reasonably priced photographer as I'll print the pics out myself later on...

I actually booked them for both after they let me view their photography. I thought it was great and plus they are super nice and professional to work with.

I think ABCI started off as Videographers and specialize in that more than Photography. They really need to up their level in the photo field to match the level they make videos at. Ross seems good as far as his work style goes but heard his reputation is not too great and a lot of MirAnwar's work looks great and his customer service is great, replies quick and to the point.

My friends hired a newer company called Verve Photo Co. and they were phenomenal! The images were spectacular and their prices were reasonable. I would check out their blog and website. I have hired them for my upcoming wedding this summer, and I'm really looking forward to working with them.

Best video by far is ABCi... and if you are looking for a fresh face. look at shutter photography and OS Photography! Both on face book
and for video ABCi.biz however they are pricey.

I booked with J.Malik photography!
they are a husband wife duo relatively new in the industry. they are beyond professional and really get to know the couple they are shooting. they are punjabi muslims! Perfect for my punjabi family!

^^ Go in and meet them. The guy in charge, Dal, is very very friendly and easy to get along with. I think Art of Video's work is not at the quality level of Filmstyleweddings or ABCi, but I think for the very reasonable price they charge, the work is quite good.

i’ve heard good things about P-Your Vision too – unfortunate name though! i keep reading it as Pee Your Vision instead of Pure Vision
