for gora who also have done desi, you can't beat www.mimmoandnaz.com or www.andreasphoto.ca
pricey, but well worth it IMHO.

Boston Avenue is a pretty cool place to get wedding pictures aswell. You can check their work and contact info at avenueweddings. com
They've even got samples of desi wedding pictures that I think are pretty cute.

they're verrrry pricey. they quoted me $6000 for a full day of wedding photographs. not even with video, just photographs! their website is a good place to find venues though and see what they look like haha

they’re doing our photography and i think they’re soooper! 
and since we have a small budget, they’re not too pricey either.
EDITED: they were terrible! they cancelled on us a MONTH before the wedding and reneged on their contract. highly, highly unprofessional! thankfully, the best part was that we ended up hiring www.boyfriendgirlfriendpictures.com and they were AMAZING.

Thanks SGC, can they do desi wedding as well?? how much are they charging u for one day?? i spoke to Kuljit Rehal, and raddisson .. they are quite pricey:(

they're charging us 2550. this include 10 hours of coverage on our wedding day, including the "getting ready" shots at andrew's parent's house where him and his groomsmen are getting dressed, and at the salon where me and my girls and my mom/aunts/cousins etc. are getting ready. then we're going to our venue and shooting all our pics with our fams and bridal party before the wedding. we get all of our digital proofs so we can print from them, and later on, high quality prints of, i believe, 20 or 30 of our favourites... i'd have to check that figure.
they touch up all of the pics and they usually shoot between 600-900 pics at a wedding. they're also doing 2 hours of photography coverage for my mehendi for free, which is awesome.
the thing with them is they're traditional editorial photographers- so they shoot magazine covers and spreads and they've shot a lot of famous people, which is like, ooh, 1 degree of separation between us and, say, kanye west... sweeet :P so their approach is very editorial and very fresh.
the one thing is that they don't do a lot of posed photography - which suited us perfectly- our split between posed and candid is about 10/90, so if you're looking for traditional, stage posing type of thing, don't go with them, they most likely won't agree to covering the wedding then.
so yes, they do desi weddings, but not the traditional way. they'll shoot it like its for a magazine- if you can live with that style, it'll work, but if you're looking for a more desi style of photography, then they're not right for you.

Oh yes! there is one more his name is Bhu Kapur from "Renaissance Images" he also does a lot of wedding and photoshoots for the magazine.

I know they are pretty reasonable than other depending on how much you'll have for them to get done.
