well..i don't agree w/ if someone has decent skin color and txture to begin with, who put on all this crap...but if someone has discoloration or something, then i dont think skin whitening is tht bad?

i think it should...why not...but then there will be so many types of skincolours on one body..hehhehe.
i honestly have never used stillmans alone so i dont know if it works or not.anything you use is gonna take atleast 3 weeks to show result .

Same here,, I have these dark circles under my eyes and I wanna get rid of them but I was wondering if this forumula which bubli's talking about may also work for that.
yeah..but u know it could also work if u hav uneven skin tone and wanna clean up certain areas...like i hav these daagh by my mouth and my eye area is really dark...its not dirty so i hav no idea wat elset o do :( So Im getting tips from here :)

Exactly, I would leave it over night for a few hours and see if it has any sideffects. If not, only than would I move further to put it on my face. Its what I usually do when trying a new cream out. Actually did the same thing with Stillmans bleach cream and i've been wearing it now for past two weeks but havn't see any difference. No good or bad difference.

guess wahy people...few years ago for my sisters wedding myself and my sister tried the all famous"4 formula" for those not familiar...stillmans bleach cream1+fairandlovely1+betnovate-n cream1+arche`s cream2.mix em up and put iver night.we did that and in weeks we were hotttt!mine workedout fine when i left doing it after the wedding btw..proposals were in for me literally next morning..but my sister who used it for her wedding, when she quit doin it her skin colour pigmented..her hubby was calling her chikoo.hahah.well for some it works for some it doesnt.i was just uncomfortable using it cos it gives avery matt and sticly feeling.but it worked!!!
I hav heard abt this but Betnovate N is not a face cream its a medicine for skin diseases n shouldn't b used on face for any reason n not for longer periods of time unless adviced by a doc.I know this coz i used to hav eczema n doc gav it to me.also i asked one of my pharmasict friend long time back abt this mix n she told me not to use cortisone products on face for longer time.
But my sis n bro both were crazy abt Archie n it did improve their complexion a lot.infact my sis was already fair n after using Archie on regular basis she got too white which looked kinda artificial on her :)but it didn't suit me n gav me break out everytime i tried it.

she was fair.n then she got really white as if painted.but its a very inexpensive cream.

Yeah it is pretty cheap. I just came across it online and the price isnt an issue at all. Well I'm going to give a try and see the result :)

Archies, Bet, Stillman's ALL contain steroids and harmful chemicals that destroy the skin in the long-run..I wudn't reccomend or encourage ANYONE to try them..they make u're skin thinner and sensitve as well. A couple of people that used the combo..seemed really fair and with clearer skin..I was SHOCKED to see them this year! Their complexion has turned ash-like..very grey..with large pores..
They might seem to be working for a couple of weeks, but PLEASE stay away!

it's true.. so many girls used something called 'mixture' of different creams meaning they mixed together stillmans, fair and lovely, etc etc and used for months and even got fairer but then the bad part hit, ouch.
use honey and a few drops of lemon and rub a slice for tomato for about 5-10 each day. lemon is a natural bleach.

i was at sephora the other day and i overheard this girl asking the associate for some product that would 'lighten' her skintone. she suggested this one product and said, the only problem is that you have to do it for a certain number of days for a certain time, if you go beyond that, your skin will possibly have a very bad effect and you will end up with hyperpigmentation. so girls, you gotta be careful when you use these things on your skin. products from pakistan do not come with warnings and proper usage info.

Try just using a regular herbal face pack, like neem powder mixed with rose water. I'm not desi, but my skintone is a bit blotchy, as well I sometimes get acne breakouts. Whenever I use this face pack, it helps so much, and it has the effect of making the skin look fairer, even though I am already pale. It's best to stick with herbal stuff I think, most of these other things probably contain chemicals that are not good. Stillman's contains actual bleach, that is a big NO-NO for the facial area.
Has anyone here ever tried Tibet Snow Cream? It's made by Kohinoor Chemical Co, I'm not sure if it's good or safe so I thought I should ask.

Betnovate is a topical steroid- DO NOT USE PEOPLE- especially on or near the delicate skin on your eyes Sara516! It's known for causing permanent damage to your skin, i.e. thinning your skin and leaving stretchmarks after prolonged use- DON'T DO IT!
