exactly.
I have male friends but I’m not about to sleep with them hug them or kiss them on the cheek or anything (like I would with a female friend)

^ I think I treat my male and female friends equally. I am equally inappropriate with both.

What? its a valid scenario…
if thats the case, then how would you behave with friends of male or female gender?
Re: being friends with opposite gender
no never it just can’t happen, i would fall in love with every guy i’m friends with :hinna: the attraction would be too strong with every single guy, all men just have that animal magnetism that no woman can resist.
Re: being friends with opposite gender
I rest my case ![]()

I am totally blank in this 'valid scenario'. Hope anyone else would help you with this :p
Re: being friends with opposite gender
One of my best friends is a guy, and we have always been just friends. Never even talked about being something more. I have known him from age 10 and he is like bro to me. Yeah i have hugged him, but same way that I hug all my friends and family members. He is the one with who I speak when I have problems or news etc. and I think he knows me the best. I have never thought him other way, he is just friend.
Of course ppl have always doubts that are we just friends or something else But I dont care I know and he knows that we are just friends. And like of course our friendship probably is going to be problem in future when we are married, but im sure that my future husband will accept him as my friend when he notices how important friend he is to me. So yeah I believe guy and girl can be friends, if its sure that both want just friendship :)

But see you consider him as your bro and thats what you want society and your future husband to consider him. Thus you thought its necessary to consider him a bro because he is your friend from the opposite gender.
Thus people from opposite gender can remain friends ONLY if they declare each other bro/ sis. If you do not start considering them bro/ sis, you can get involved in friends from the opposite gender.

some girls get ‘emotionally attached’…followed by clingyness, chipkooness etc ![]()
Re: being friends with opposite gender
Men are good listeners and they prove to be good friends too. After work, it's a great change to talk/hear about something besides 'beauty queries and products'! I enjoy their company.. and no, you don't suddenly develop 'feelings' for them just because they are men.

I dunno if you're joking but I was gonna say the same thing, and be serious hides away, embarrassed
I think it's def. possible to be really good friends with guys and not want to get in each others' pants. On most occasions, I've found my guy friends to be a lot more entertaining to be around
Re: being friends with opposite gender
unless he is a homosexual, you can't have a guy friend without the love/lust part.
I have super close friends who are girls, and I'm not gay, and I don't lust for them. It's funny cause I'm 14.
Re: being friends with opposite gender
It depends. If you lived most of your life in a gender segregated society then this type of friendships become complex. But if you are used to have guys and girls around then yeah perfectly normal friendships can develop between opposite gender.
Re: being friends with opposite gender
i wub my guy friends so much, why are they so wonderful i have no clue but it’s true they are understanding and caring mega big hug for them
, only a virtual one for them though, no hugging and kissing guy friends :nono:

Sure,
After work. ;)
OK.
There is always a potential.
Those who pretend to have so called platonic relation or friendship either fool others or get surprised big time trying to fool themselves.
Unless off course something wrong with one person or other.
Re: being friends with opposite gender
yes, I think its important to have some friends from the opposite sex
Re: being friends with opposite gender
I do have female friends and i think i get along with them fine. Sometimes i do go out to eat or just simple have cup of Tea with them. And you know what? we across brilliant discussions and share ideas and thoughts based on mutual respect. Especially if your opposite sex friend is intellectual type.

Are they hot?
