guy friends are cool, depending on their personality, have pretty easy going ones that are there whenever i need them as my pals. but there has to be boundaries that have to drawn by both parties if you both don't want anything more than just friendship. but guys and gals can be friends and its important b/c you get to understand the opposite gender a lot more

I'm talking here out of experience too. Things can be simple if you start calling your friend "brother" but then he won't give you any ghaas.

On a serious note, I wish “friends” coulld be just that- “friends” irrespective of their sex but it’s humanely not possible i think :(.

It can be possible...my hubby has few female friends but they're either married or too old. But then again, it's not like they're best friends.

Oh come on, I had 4 great guy friends during my undergrad and there was no love/lust whatsoever. Yuck!
Guys are cool and sometimes more fun to hang around with than girls. To be honest, there wasn’t much of a difference between my male and female friends apart from the discussions they liked to hold - guys discussed politics, sports, religion, whereas girls only cared about who got drunk on Saturday night and who kissed who. =/ No offense ladies, remember ima laday myself!
