Maybe they were but since 1947 they have lived without BCCI and they can in future too. The financial problems in early 2004 was due to the fact that Afghan war meant that foreign teams were reluctant to come and play in Pakistan. Such difficulties will arise form time to time but that does not mean that Pakistan cricket cannot survive without BCCI.
thats was becasue NO OTHER TEAM was visiting Pakistan after 9/11 (afghan war)…PCB survived without Indian visit for 10 years before that and will survive
So fact is that before India toured they were in fianancial trouble. Point is made. What makes you think that another Bomb blast wont stop any other tour.
As I said, If BCCI goes solo PCB will be first to join them.
Who cares what bedi, gavaskar or jack says ...... i think it's waste of time and energy to boil over such posts/allegation ...... there is a system inplace for such matters ...... and we've seen how it works (Shabbir) ...... so all those who would like call him should start umpiring and try a get a match allocatde where in he plays and then can satisfy themselve ;)
i guess the 45 runs made u stop watching it or was it his batting action where even in normal slow-motion a violation of the 15degrees is visible when he hit Kumble for a six …
Mate chill and get over it … u can call him whatever u like to as u r entiteled to ur opinion but u can’t change anything can u so no need to fume ???
And guess what … u can start a similar thread after every series he plays and it would end up like before … namely → things r as they were before
Bedi isn't saying anything new. He is just joining the bandwagon. Which anyone can do. No big deal. I'll wait till Shoaib is called next by the umpires. Till then, all the arm-chair critics can shut up on this issue and focus back on the cricket.
By the way, Bedi also had a lot of advice for Indian team. For what its worth, no body seemed to talk about it. Aik *Shoaib *hi reh giya hai. Even when Shoaib doesn't play, his *saaya mandla *over Indian experts! haha.
Bedi is not just “joining” the bandwagon, he has been “driving” it…and since a long time before this series.
People are now sitting up and noticing because of two reasons :
(1) There is an Indo-Pak series currently on.
(2) The venerable “Mr Gavaskar” has “joined” the band-wagon.
Bedi might very well say this to Gavaskar : “Main itni der se kyaa Farsi bol raha thaa”.
Yeah, who ever came in first.. thing is, focus should be back on cricket. I personally think its been a great series so far (two drab draws and Inzi's idiotic behavior notwithstanding). Had Mr Chapell kept his trap shut and focused on winning games through his own team, we'd have more time to talk about and enjoy cricket and less about throwing mud at others' players.
Whether Harbhajan or Akhtar or Murali or Lee chucks, should be left to the umpires for now. Even Mr Gavaskar's opinion, how well-placed he may be, has little relevance or authority at this point. All of them (incl Moin Khan) are just peddling their newsworthiness (through controversial statements) to claim a higher $$$ when their syndaicated column's contract is up for renewal. Thats all.
True BCCI is more resourceful than PCB, even more than other cricket boards. But shame on them that under them Indian cricket has failed to produce a quality fast bowler and instead whinning regarding the action of other quaity bowlers.
SOME 1, yar thumhay koi sharm nam kee cheeze choo kar nahin guzree kabhee:D . Yar qasam say terey samnay tu mujhay Ian Botham bhee *rowndo *nahin lagta.
I think we should officially declare SOME 1 the biggest whiner alive.
