why else would he be taking their side then?..he is always bashing musharraf for killing his fellow muslims for america…who are these fellow muslims that he is trying to defend?they are talibans and al-qaeda…they want to assasinate musharraf and want to see sharia law imposed in pakistan.. ignoring them would be like commiting suicide for musharraf.

Has anyone seen Zawahiri except the fact that once a while we get to see those videos (most probably the engineered videos) of Osama etc. No govt. has any proof that he is even alive. So why are we discussing that he could kill thousands of Pakistanis.
The fact is that our own govt killed our own people. In return the soldiers were killed too. so the ultimate loss is ours - This is surely going towards the CIVIL WAR. Actually we're in the civil war.
People who are defending this killing, how would they defend the Balochistan crisis - were Osama or Zawahiri there????
Where in Islam, it is allowed to kill people without giving them chance to prove themselves that they're innocent. Are we in the stone age? or is it allowed in a Secular country since Musharraf is taking us towards secularism anyways.

And the pakistani army themselves have said they have narrowed his location down to a 40 km radius in the tribal areas

they became a problem for pak when they are used as training grounds to conduct terrorist acts in pakistan and in the west such as the london subway bombings which malign pakistan, decrease foreign investment, destroy the economy and make pakistan vulnerable

so whats about Balochistan crisis where a popular and respected political leader (doesn't matter if we agree with his political strategies or not - he was a leader of so many people and he surely wsn't a terrorist) was murdered by own army.
what happened a few months ago when US fighter planes attacked our own places under our own govt. where several innocent people died.

Do you know the history of Bugti tribe - I guess not. Do you know that there were 2 tribes in that area during seperation. One tribe totally did everything to go against pakisan while one totally supported it. Yes. Bugti was the one who supported Pakistan and now he has been called traitor by free men & women of the free land. Isn't it sad.
Do you know the history behing the gas pipelines. Do you know that the area that produces and supplies the gas to other parts of country, is without the gas even after about 60 years of freedom. I know they didn't handle it correct. But whats about our govt, our educated cream of the country - did they handle it correct. Was govt supposed to murder everybody rather than having some civilized discussion and trying to resolve it in a better way.
and if public is doing something wrong - is the solution to just kill? or should there be other solutions?? Are we that uncivilized that we can't sit together and talk and come up with the better solutions??. Is our govt that much without the resources and brains??. If they can't handle the issues then maybe they should go and let others handle it in a different way. Atleast a public govt would think 100 times before doing something like that.

It is entirely possible that somebody made a thoughtful calculation that driving up with a bunch of troops and police and attempting to arrest a suspect would result in even more casualties, and probably a lower chance of success. These are very heavily armed people who do not have a great respect for the Pakistani Federal Authorities.

This sending message thing is really bizarre. Tomorrow the relatives of those got killed will set a bomb blast out side the GHQ, some random passer bys will be killed and their supporters will say look they were just trying to send a message.
Sending messages doesn't help, it might have helped Theodore and the great white fleet, it hasn't worked since. It would help if the other side is listening otherwise it only rakes up more blood, often innocent blood on your hand.
I still don't understand why Pakistan after so many years wants to hold on to these tribal areas. Don't we believe in Self Determination anymore or is it a gimick only for Kashmir? Its obvious that the tribal people do not like Pakistan's government, so why not let them go. Ask them to build their own government, no matter how brutal it might be and let the international community handle them from there on. Don't Pakistan have enough headaches like poverty, education and building infrastructure for citizens who actually think Pakistan means something?

and by that token, you would then be okay f instead of Pakistan it was NATO and US forces blowing the crap outta them for hiding forieign fighters there? dso the net result for tribals would be worse. pakistan has done all that it can over the last few years to try and find a solution that does not involve too much military action, and I guess the tribals are taking that for weakness.

So Fraudia Bhaijaan, in your opinion, Pakistan is just trying to save them from inhalation by the western forces by killing a few on its own? Not a very good idea, in my opinion.
In either case, resorting to violence pretty much shows that Pakistan Government (more so Army) can't get its point across otherwise. Which shows lack of leadership no matter how much we try to blame the other side.
Edit: Oh and I wouldn't be ok if NATO blasted them to pieces but at least it would be Pakistan doing the dirty work.
