The thing is that it never stops. If you're married and childless, you're at their mercy. I'm not even talking about close relatives....I'm talking about even neighbors, remote acquaintances, friends of friends etc etc. Maybe I had it worse because I had such trouble conceiving - THAT kind of news spreads like wildfire and everyone wants to know each and every detail and everyone has their own take on how to solve the problem. The kinds of questions and comments I endured were just jaw-dropping and I have to say that although I did get snotty a couple of times, I really handled the whole thing pretty well. Anyway, its a tough thing to deal with no matter how you handle it.
