I got it all wrong! Though Avatar is the name of the animation, and they do make that into a movie, that movies name is “The Last Airbender” and that’s the one I meant.
The movie being discussed in this thread has the name of that animation, but is a totally different story. It’s got nothing to do with that animation. I just found out when my children showed me the trailers.
