yar, I know its just your PC, some thing is preventing that inlined embedded codes for media to connect your PC, for sure that upload server must be on different locations(?)
This has to be something related to firewall or internet securities on your PC.
Can you reinstall windows ? (you can do it as last hope) :-p

i just checked the firewall is off. what do i check abt my internet securities. for your info i never played with them. been using just as was given by the vendor and was able to post audio clips previously.

Is windows firewall also off ?
for internet security!
click on Tool--click on internet optopns---then security, and make sure it is on default!
(but I am sure it will not help as well)... something must be about firewall...

oooooooh, yes yes yes, long long time ago when this pc was new, i remember something was not working on my pc and somebody had told me to play with my internet security settings. i did as they had advised me to so… that could be it??? how do i find out?
i have set it up as “default” but still the same message.

change the user now :-p
you need to see in firewall log if anything related to GS servers is blocked or not!
ps: now delete the firewall name for security reasons!

It was Abbaa not AbbaY, a spelling mistake and I have no idea about the rest of Chinese written in there! For more help, please change the ‘user’ and see if that works!

oh i mean, just when i was in the process of uploading screen shot of the unsuccessful attempt trying to upload mp3s with opera, i read this post of yours. so i stopped and quickly disabled everything that had to do with norton. and IT WORKED. now im in the process of uploading my clips

one thing i dont like abt the new way of uploading mp3s before i was able to upload more than one audio clip at a time. but now i cant do that cz there is no seperate screen. it has to be in the same thread so only once at a time.

well, i have heard dsl service provided by the local ISP is worse than dial-up here. very poor service. this is why i still havent decided to get dsl. although the bills i get for my dial up every month is double of the dsl monthly fee
initially, i didnt think i would use net this much. only got it to stay in touch with family through mails when not at work. but guppushuppu’s got me addicted frustrated look
