Means what?
Does this change (only uploading mp3s) mean, my old audio clips (Whispering in my room thread) which were in wave format would be useless for anyone wanting to listen to those? I tried to listen to one to check and this is what I got:

What am I supposed to do? Whose idea was it anyway? Why is it introduced? I mean… are my audio clips completely worthless for my fans???
i read that "sticky" thread. there was nothing "sticky" abt it. not much is given there. it does not say this is what you'd get trying to upload an mp3:

my question goes unanswered. maybe i have mp3 format to upload. why does it tell me to "Go away!! You are not allowed to use the form directly"??
For the time being, the file has to be in .mp3 format. How to upload it, where to ask questions to get answers fast, I think you should check out my sticky thread in Audio.

Now, does it say that when you open a new thread (or click on add reply) or does it say that after to try to upload a file and that pops up as an error message?

For most people who’re using newer versions of Media Player, I don’t think they will be able to listen to the .WAV on GS – why don’t you convert the WAVs’ into MP3s’ and give Shikra the new references and he can then edit your threads appropriately?
Also, I see that your default player has been set to Real Player – this might be problematic in its own… If you have Windows Media Player, try making that the default… but I understand if this is a preference… if you still want to change it, then do this:
My Computer => Tools => Folder Options => File Types => Choose “WAV” and “MP3” from the list and associate them with Media Player.
