Why do people start getting personal, and start accusing and insulting each other, is this the level of patients we have? and we are trying to deal with taliban.
An Indian person at my university once said, where ever u leave 2 pakistanis they start arguing and boasting that they are right. I disagreed with the person at that time, but after joining these forums i can see that the indian person was right.

Riffat Hussain is quite a right-winger, isn't he? (like the other folks at QAU dept of defence studies). Even though what he is saying is not unlikely, this kind of report of army not fighting because of the soldiers not wanting to (with the assumption that the generals want to fight, which is total baloney) serves the right-wing propaganda quite well and should be taken with a grain of salt.
The generals don't want to fight either, I would like to see a report from QAU dept of defence studies about THAT.

Let me clear up some of your facts.....
It wasn't yellow agent...it was Agent Orange...a controversial pesticide to destroy jungle growth to reveal Vietcong positions
I wasn't talking about Indian, but American soldiers.
We all know you don't have the balls to say that to an American soldier, and that's a fact.
Are you suggesting shout at American soldiers who are serving in army and served in Iraq/Afghanistan or soldiers who refused to participate in these wars?

and the problem was he did not know anything about Vietnam....he just thought everyone else had the same amount of knowledge on Vietnam as he did....but he forgot who he was dealing with, me :)
and what about the families of those who die every day in tribal areas of Pakistan? What about millions of displaced people including women and children that had to flee caz of Govt bombing and USA Drone attacks? You are one sided ....and you don't see the otherside of the coin.

The Millions of displaced and dead in the tribal areas are to be counted among Mercenaries Pakistani dead. They are as much the victim of these terrorists as anyone else in Pakistan.
Its not govt bombing, its Taliban terrorism. Dont confuse the disease for the treatment.
Can we say that when civilians die in suicide attacks? Its a war, and people die.

No, and there no moral equivalency here, either. On the one side you have bunch of terrorist thugs who are trying to destroy county, and overthrow the govt and other side you have army. So, there is no moral equivalency in terrorists blowing up girls schools, masjids, & army trying to eliminate terrorists.

Any coward refusing to fight should be executed. The soviets had men behind troops on the German front to kill deserters. We are a laughing stock as a people now, the qaum is willingly bending over for the Taliban!

I certainly dont want to see my fellow nationals arguing. Indians, american, British may argue even more than pakistanis, but i was certainly surprised to see the level of immaturity after joining these forums.
