The thing is that maybe my question is very basic, most of Pakistanis are Sunnis by birth but they don’t know their aqaed and what’s different between what they follow and the others. You can do a sample random check and the results will astound you.

Having said that if the differences are how to perform ablution, prayers, length of beard and where to tuck the shalwar none of these are big issues if you ask me. Then why is there so much misgiving and hatred amongst various schools of thoughts? The Quran has mentioned prayers, zakat and hajj etc but how to carry those activities out people find the answers from the Prophet’s life and they follow one way of how he performed them. The only difference is interpretation of things and every one is following the Prophet (Sallalahu Alaihi wassalam) in carrying about their ibadah and other conduct.

This is news to me… where in the world is there hatred among the 4 schools of thought?
