"Taliban sympathizers" or the soldiers think that its not their war. ITs a proxy war of US against ppl who are responsible for 9-11. US is using PAk Army shoulders to fire the guns. Naturally our soldiers would sympathize with the enemy. and because of the US proxy war, we are having a spill over effect in pakistan, bomb blast etc. only loss is ours.

The soldiers need to be told that their offiensive is not against Afghan Freedom fighters, known as Taliban, but with the terrorists funded and trained by our arch rivals.

I already posted this, but it just goes to show that that brainwashing initiated by the ziaists has such a deep root now, that it affects all segments of the population.
However, those of us who do not believe in the barbaric unislamic activities of the taliban, should remember that only a very minuscule number of our soldiers and policemen are of this view. The 90%+ FC (majority pashtun btw) despite low morale due to bad equipment and training continues to fight the talib pigs and so does our police. Some of you may remember the victory celebration punjab police had after sending a couple laskhakr/talib pigs to hell in the lahore academy attack.

When the soldier's are being killed and civilians are begin killed by talibs, it is exactly our war. The spill over effect of jihadi misadventureism started in pakistan long before 9/11. The sectarian attacks were a norm during the 90's. The first suicide bombing conducting by global jihadi mullahs was in 1995 against egyptian embassy. The hatred of the mullah brigade against the very existence of pakistan has been ongoing since before Pakistan was even created.
Now, with the help of their arab overlords and other puppet master they have learned the evil act of suicide bombing. And with loss of Afghan and limitation of Kashmir theater to freely prance about, they have directed their terror towards innocent pakistanis.

This was has been forced upon us, ever since foreign forces entered these talibian are killing pakistanis or attacking embassies to prove a point to someone else

Bitter_reality I understand your opinion but do u think that if Pak agrees to the demands of taliban i.e withdrawal of foreign forces, pak army should not support to US etc.. then they would leave us alone. When Obama asked to negotiate with them they clearly refused and said we have one demand, "get out of our country" is this demand wrong? its been 8 year afghanistan has been bombard like hell, and didnt even find osama's hair, taliban and their mission just increased in number. It was announced by their leader that 2 bomb blasts/week. This is to prove a point to USA,. Whats their enmity with pakistan. Thats why i say its their war with USA and we are stuck in middle.

I think you didn't know thousands of US Soldiers runaway during Veitnam war & now in War in Terror, and we are talking about half a dozen Pak Army Soldiers..

Dude, don't make an issue out of it. Look at the history, this is very normal. If 6 soldiers defy the order from more then half a million Army. Then indeed this is a great achievement, and west have to shutup that Pak Army is filled with Taliban's.

600000 Army Soldiers, and 6 defy the orders. It's mean Pak Army go through a serious crises which a lot of think tanks were imagining about. Indeed once more Pak Army shows how strong this institution is. Kudo's for that :)

Vietnam was a policy war waged due to the fact that if Vietnam fell, the Pentagon believed the whole of South East Asia would turn communist. Many didn't agree with the policy and thus fled the draft
Now compare how many US Soldiers have deserted fighting in Iraq War vs War in Afghanistan.
Iraq never attacked USA, but Al Qaeda terrorists based in Afghanistan did.
And thus you can see the difference......

So if some Pakistani troops deserted when they were deployed in Somalia, I can understand that but not this.....

USA won the Korean War, driving back the North Koreans whose aim was to conquer South Korea....
As for Vietnam...US won every single engagement it fought but the public lost faith in the war....
As for South Ossetia....since when did US Ground Forces participate in that conflict?
