How do you react if someone asks you that ?

  1. Politely tell them you are from Pakistan.
  2. Look angry & offended.
  3. Feel too ashamed to mention Pakistan, and ignore the question, or even mumble yes.
  4. Any real life situations you want to share.

I’m Pakistani, and people always think I’m Indian…

At a wedding recently, I met a Pakistani lady who worked with me for years…when I introduced her to my mom she was taken aback and said ‘hey this is your mom? I’ve known her for years and all this time I’ve thought you were Indian!’

I don’t know what Indians are ‘supposed’ to look like :confused:

I always smile ... and keep smiling ...they look confused ... and then I say 'Im from Pakistan '...hehe

But ppl often think Im Iranian. Dont know why.

or ppl from Malasia and Indonesia? just by looking at them...

hmm…then stop hating poor ppl :frowning: …hehe though I dont like ppl when they call me something other than a Pakistani.

But then until recently most ppl never knew Pakistan is a separate country and not part of India…bec of these terrorist attaks…Badnaam hain to kia naam na hoga!!!
