The classes of society described in the Hindu scriptures are as follows:
Brahmin - Preists
Kshatriya - "warriors and rulers or politicians community"
Vaishya - "mercantile and artisan community"
Shudra - "service-providing community"

the caste which is not part of above four is called pancham
(literal meaning is fifth) the new name for it is Dalit - "untouchables, those without varna" were never a part of the Vedas, but were introduced later in derivative scriptures.
even farmers are part of Shudra and shudra are not untouchables

the Kshatriya's are the kings and rulers
but in south India most of the kingdoms belongs to Shudra Caste and even now 90% of the politicians in South are Shudras

simple question, was there a field called graphic design before computers? in some cases it gets paired up with I/T as I/T tools are increasinglyuse for graphic design execution, as well as graphic desig principles have to be applied in I/T apps/games/tools development.

But it is not a subset of part of I/T.

Simple answer: then computer programming languages are not IT related with that logic for the principles used in basic development were there long before computers. Simple Mathematics, differenciation, integration, arithmatic, Binary logic were devised and used long before computers. IT incorporated all these things and hence Computer Graphics Designing is strictly Computer Graphics Designing and is an IT field

Niether of you clowns know what you are talking about. Graphic design is not part of I/T. Graphic designers are increasingly using I/T and new tools as a component of graphic design.

I personally dont know of any unis that give graphic design degrees out of their I/T dept. although they may exist.
