I want to know what your experience is like as a 'lower caste' in pakistan as compared to India.
Has Islam really changed the caste discrimination? Because from what I have read and heard, it is even stronger in Pakistan than in India.
excuse me brother but Islam has nothing to do with caste system in the context of superiority or inferioraty.It tells that no man is inferior to others
on the basis of colour,birth,region,caste or wealth.
No doubt, there was a caste system in arabs in a different form when GOD sent Quran on His beloved Prophet but Quran completely changed the concept of castes as it said that they were only to distinguish different groups among people solely for identity purposes.Arabs who used to have an immense believe and pride in their so called superior castes became so humble and noble.(not very sure about their present condition)
In subcontinent, caste system was so old and strong that people could not get rid of it even though they changed their relegion.
Yes, its just a change of relegion not a change of minds and natures of the people.They came to Islam and brought a lot of bad things(customs,caste system).Some of them even tried to mix hese things with Islamic teachings.
I think this might have cleared your mind brother.If its so then good and if it has given you more curiosity then its even better as you would learn more.
Sorry fellows, it was lenghty but i could'nt help myself.I have seen so much of it cos I am a rajpot myself and used to see alot of so called 'kammis' in my village when i was young.

Shoodurs are not untouchables
the four varna’s in vedas are Brahmin, Vyshya, Kshtriya,Shudra
whoever don’t belong to any of that four are untouchables
so you can touch a Shoodur
untouchables are pancham varna
But untouchability is unhuman and a great sin:nono1:, if you get caught you will be in jail for 6 yrs and fine upto Rs50K

Niether of you clowns know what you are talking about. Graphic design is not part of I/T. Graphic designers are increasingly using I/T and new tools as a component of graphic design.
I personally dont know of any unis that give graphic design degrees out of their I/T dept. although they may exist.

simple question, was there a field called graphic design before computers?
in some cases it gets paired up with I/T as I/T tools are increasinglyuse for graphic design execution, as well as graphic desig principles have to be applied in I/T apps/games/tools development.
But it is not a subset of part of I/T.
