AS IN eating alot of something, like chocs, or junk food,
i just realised, as ive been taking a food diary, that in the last week, i ate chips, pizzaz, chocs, crisps, ice cream, chinese…and white bread…
hardly any fruit or veg…:

I do!!! Im eating junk more, and cannot eat currys as it makes me want to puke!
But i do eat alot more fruit than before, i like red apples at the moment.
I get cravings for chocolate alot too!!

Not really! A lot of desi women blame their cravings for eating unhealthy stuff during pregnancy but I think the real fact is, they're just making an excuse for their unhealthy lifestyle. Now is the time to do things differently because you're really feeding all this junk to your baby....Think about it!! All your baby needs is 300 extra calories, the good quality nutritional calories NOT those empty calories you're getting from eating chips etc!

Also my preggo friend and i were discussing the other day that if you put on all this weight eating this junk , it will be so hard for you to lose all this fat after the delivery :no:
and her GP told her particularly not to give into any unhealthy cravings coz if she eats too much sugars it can make her diabetic during pregnancy .. and the problem can linger on later on as well …

im 26 weeks pregnant mashallah & iv put on sooooooo much weight!! i feel a bit depressed about it becos i cant believe how big iv gone, i feel like eating all the tm, i get hungry after every 1-2hrs & all i want to eat is junk food- chips being top of the list! i had a midwife app today & she told me to try to eat healthy but i told her that fruit makes me feel sick & i dont no wot to do... im hoping that once iv had the baby the weight will miraculously just fall off me, so heres hoping! x
I wouldn't say I eat** a lot**, but I do eat a little more than I usually did before I was pregnant, but not overly. Although, in the last 10 days, we have had take-out twice, lol. I do drink water and juice more and I do try to eat more fruit to offset the naughty days, lol. I try not to use the excuse that I am expecting to stuff my face as I know at the end of it all, it will be so hard to shift... And for those of you who think, oh, i'll just breast feed and rely on that to burn my calories, it doesn't work for everyone and is not a miraculous way of losing baby fat.
