As far I am concerned, Islam, Christianity and Judaism are only beliefs that count... are are all children of Abraham... others are Pagan religions.. Why we are more successful than Japanese or Chinese??? Can any1 explain please....?
Why is who more successful than Japanese or Chinese? Japan and China both are doing better than Pakistan and most middle-eastern countries. Either you are completely insane or these are intentional dumb comments (to invoke disses from sane people) in which case you should look into a new hobby.
As I do not follow any religion it helps me to be unbiased towards all and equally respect all ideologies including my own. It also helps me to accept the things on the base of as they really are, instead of bringing in myths. I only follow what my heart says is right, my concious is my driving force on the path of goodness.

I am in the process of moving from ritualistic Hinduism to philosophic Hinduism......
but I don't know if you can count that as a change in belief system (even though it does involve changes in beliefs) in the same sense as you are using it from / to some other religion. Hinduism expects that some of us would do that. Probably why Hinduism cannot really be dealt with as the other religions
You are correct. Hinduism, Buddhism and other eastern phisolophies are usually not put in the same category as in the Abrahamic faiths. The former seems to have multiple layers and ideologies. Hinduism specially has a big philosophical and cultural chunk.
I would term your change of ideology as just you exploring different sects/forms of Hinduism, not a change in belief system.

I did not mean any offence towards Islam. I'm talking about Muslims. Most of them would not be excited about finding out one of 'them' has turned Agnostic/Athiest. I don't care whats preached right or wrong, I am only commenting on the current situation/mindset of muslims. Christians would react the same way.

Totally Agree with the orginal posts. I think alot of us declaring our religion better than others religion or sects wud have been defending a different religion or sect if we were born in a family with different religion.

Athiesm (in extreme or different levels of it) is a lot more common than what everyone thinks. Most people who become Athiest/Agnostic inside just don't care enough to come out and say it or openly talk about it. Religion is just not a big issue in their life. And there are others who aren't really confident about how people around them are going to react if they openly start expressing their stance.

I think saying that Evolution has no logic is pretty senseless itself.

This is very sad that we are not allowed to say bad about Mirza Qadiani, yet we allow them to propogate their kufr. This is totally against teachings of Quran. This is why Muslims are always being treated like garbage because we have no self-respect, always we are scared to hurt others' feeling but we don't care if they hurt our religious sentiments. Since my family was not too religious I wasn't sure whom to take guidance from, so after a lot of research my heart have found the above mentioned (bold and blue) the best in terms of following the sunnah of the Prophet (saw) without any biddah or Shirk.
I don't call others wrong, but only stating that my heart feels the truth in their life style, specially the people of Raiwand including Maulana Tariq Jameel,....etc.
A great aspect of their (the scholars) life style is that they don't waste any time in calling others bad but only try to improve themselves and share good knowledge humbly and politely WITHOUT showing themselves as a separate sect. (MashaAllah) This is the reason they are quickly winning hearts (Mohammad Yusuf, Junaid Jamshed, Saqlain Mushtaq, Saeed Anwar, Mushtaq Ahmed, Salim Malik......etc)
May Allah (swt) guide us all towards the right path.

That's so true brother, same story here.. "we" when we reverted initially we used to call ourselves "Muslims" but then we "my father, mother, brothers, sister and I read a lot of books and researched about every sect. and finally we came to the conclusion that we're "Sunni - Deobandis" proudly. we found other sects doing shirk and biddah [for eg; barelvis kiss their thumbs when we say Huzoor SAW, and do "koondas" (Hazrat Iman Jaffar Sadiq's niyaaz) and "khatam-e-qadariya" and go to mazaars for mannats and etc etc etc...] and our hearts weren't satisfied to follow these things.. my whole naniyaal is a born muslim family but they're not too religious, otherwise we might not have researched and only followed the sect they were following. We're all really really very happy to be reverted to Islam and Islam is the best religion and the only righteous path [IMHO - no offense to anybody here]

I totally back u up there. Of course it is senseless to say evolution has no logic coz its based on logic. However when a athiest claims that God doesnt exist coz GOD didnt create us. We were alway here in shape on monkeys frogs fishes and so on. This doesnt make alot of sense coz it always comes back to how did first fish come in the play ? and then the answer is Big Bang for that ? well i guess it is coz i've never got an answer for that.
Another thing that bothers me in evolution is, scientists are ready to beleive that they were monkeys earlier, thats becoz of very similar bone structure. Now if someone claims that Monkeys and bears were humans earlier then the bone structure wudnt count and It wud be called a myth.
3rd complaint i have for the scientists regarding evolution, wud be for those who believe in both: evoultion and global warming. Y do they scare us of global warming? If they believe in both then there is no reason to be afraid of Global warming coz according to evolution we just adopted worst weathers and changed from fish's to frogs to monkeys and then kept getting tails and kept getting rid of them. All that just to adopt the worst weathers. And if global warming is gona create an unsurviveable weather then no worries coz according to evolution humans will get tail or change into retiples to adopt the weather but they do survive. I mean thats what we have been doing from thousands of centuries according to evolution. So Global warming shldnt be a threat to those who believe in evolution. And consider it a fact not a theory.

NO way.i m frm pakistan, muslim alhamdullilah, now in US just for vacations. my husband has beard n i use to wear abaya n face hijaab.
i saw her too many ppl say salam (asalamualikum) to us just becoz of me, coz hijab ( covering body n face )is in islam n i m really really proud to b a muslim.
