This is..not true. First off, it’s a genetic fact that your castes have not mixed substantially. If you look up the J2 factor, you’ll find that your upper caste Brahmins contain the greatest frequency, the middle caste Kshatriyas contain less, the lower caste Shudras contain less, and the tribals contain none. It’s a clear indication of lack of mixing. However where I’ll agree with you on mixing between castes is between higher caste men and lower caste women. This is why you get some very dark upper castes and very few light skinned upper castes. It’s a very patriarchial culture and always has been.
If you’re not convinced still, then you one look at the eyes close up gives it away (a non touched up picture)..and if that doesn’t convince you, just keep up the denial as you’re beyond help if you need to lionize her.
Firstly, i did not call u names but you have - it's not surprising that aishwariya rai's eye colour can get you that worked up.
secondly this -

shows that maybe it's you who needs help. all Ill say is - she was a cute kiddo. have a nice day.
roadrunner, why are you so obsessed with trying to prove that Ash wears colored contacts??? There are atleast 5 or 6 indian people i know who have light eyes. Having light eyes doesn’t always mean you have light skin. Of course some of them do have light skin but not all.
Here’s a pic of Ash when she was a baby, you can clearly tell she has been born with light eyes, but I guess according to you she started to wear colored contacts when she was one right?
you just want to say that Pakistanis are 10 times better looking than Indians. Are you done? Now go see a psychiatrist.
I’m not obsessed with it (or her) in the slightest. I just keep hearing in anthropological discussions look at Aishwarya, she has white skin and blue eyes etc, and if you say it on ratedesi, most of the kids will burst a zit if someone thought she wore contact lenses, when almost everyone in Bollywood wears contacts and lots of foundation. There’s nothing wrong with wearing it in real life I suppose.
Also your observation of 5 or 6 Indians with genuine light eyes does not tally up with my experiences, so I guess they must be coloured contacts like Aishwarya Rai’s. They simply do not exist in the type of quantities you’re suggesting. All I’m saying is be realistic, stop squeezing the zits, Bollywood is just an inaccurate representation of India, and basically grow up. It is a simple fact..You will not get light eyes and dark skin on people naturally, this can only occur with mixing, but due to the recessivity of fair eye colour, you will not get the blue or green showing up when brown eye colour is present (that is almost always associated with dark skin).
Actually, I dont..why is it so difficult to accept I’m trying to get a serious discussion of anthropology going, and save you from idiocy? Some Indians can be nice looking (are you happy now?), it doesnt really bother me much, I am not interested in that here. I’m interested in this fair eyed and fair skinned obsession that Bollywood has, and the insecurity of the Indians replying on this thread..
PS. How on earth do you conclude Aishwarya Rai has light eyes from that picture?
Edit : On a more serious note, try and get a life November_Rain..You and other Indians seem to have this inferiority complex where you see racism whenever anthropology or peopling is discussed..For the record, some Pakistanis are most definitely of Indian descent..just not me :D
Roadrunner sahab, I cannot speak for other Indians on the board, but I do not suffer from any complex whatsoever. It gives me great satisfaction to see that you accept atleast partially that some if not all, Pakistani citizens are of Indian descent. I indeed have a life, but seriously, I think you need to get a life as you are drawing a parallel between anthropology and bollywood.
PS. It's not all, just some Pakistani citizens are of Indian descent. A small percentage in fact crossed over I believe.
Where have I admitted that bollywood actors and actresses are nothing like Indians ? FYI... Since Pakistan was of the region which was reportedly burnt, pillaged and women raped by the Afghan thugs, you wish to believe that the citizens belonged to the Afghan nasal I say 3 cheers for you. Somebody needs a serious history lesson.
Stick to the anthropology, not insults. I'm interested in hearing all your insecure denials about what India is, and then when you're all done, I will hit you with the proof that you're all in la-la land..
Your thoughts have the same effect as watching an thong wearing elephant doing a ballet dance on an icy floor. I will respond to you once you disassociate a serious subject of Indian anthropology from Bollywood. And ofcourse lets not forget about the proof.
1- Ask any south indian they openly admit people from from bollywodd dont present real picture of even north india
2-If some look good in india he/she is a bollywood star----but if some one look good in pakistan they are childs of rape victum???
3-So far their are no prof of who the native people of pakistan are----Most likely they were not southindians since we don’t see same type of cities/structure in any other part of india north/south.
So till you know who were the native people of pakistan try to keep you pie whole shut.
And don’t disrespect pakistanis on base of some assumptions.
I've thought about this a bit..and the Indians on here are too insecure to be given proof. You will never accept it, even though leading names in the field have done the research.
