Re: Another new season, another clean slate, hope springs eternal
Nice job with HIT workout. Hope you feel better.
Pass the baton please. Back getting better. Will go for first run in a while todag. Have been doing biking a bit. Stretching pushups weights sporadicalky.
The six pack is getting buried in layers and layers of fat. Time to roll back some of those layers.

^ nice workout. Careful on the treadmill. Has been making news of late in terms of accidents. Am sure you have it covered.
Haven’t heard from Decent6chora in a while. Hope he is running during lunch with work clothes and running shoes on making fashion statements (I do the same at times)
Hope Royal GGala is feeling better.
Went for first run in about 3 months. No back pain. Doc.said it was just inflammation. All good. 10 lbs heavier. So got work cut out.
Have been doing some heavy gardening. Digging soil to take out weeks and then do am elevated garden.
Doc said I am pre diabetic. Am going to kick that sh!t. Good diet. Good exercise. Am confident. Nice wake up call.
Re: Another new season, another clean slate, hope springs eternal
Well done southie, need to maintain it though if you are pre-diabetic. Maybe a good idea to do HBA1c test every 6 months initially to keep a tab on its not progressing. 5-10KG weight loss usually averts/ delays progression to true diabetes. Actually now Diabetes is regarded a component of what we call Metabolic Syndrome so also need to keep a check on your cholesterol profile and your BP. but Pace yourself to avoid musculoskeletal problems

Taking a page out of chapter 6 of DC playbook I wore running shoes to work. Blue color with yellow lace. The fashion statement was complete with white socks.
Just finished 1.2 miles rapid walk. Walking back gently while typing. As soon as this post over will ramp up pace.
Re: Another new season, another clean slate, hope springs eternal
Just though when I had pumped this up. I came down with cold/aches/chills/fever anything icky related to a cold. Ok fair enough. Then week 2 I get food poisoning from seafood (shrimps) So I have been dealing with the most awful stomach cramps all week — So painful Did my own dava-darru and now I am okay. Alhamdulilah
I too binged on whole dabba of strawberries yesterday after having no food all week. Ah man felt so good. And I am not even a fruit person. Anyhow come monday and we are back in business. All in all I haven’t put on any weight :k:
Re: Another new season, another clean slate, hope springs eternal
The vegetable patch on one side - around 14 ft x 10 ft got overtake by crabgrass. So We are going to plant vegetables on a raised bed. But prior to that I want to dig deep and get the area free of crab grass. These suckers are very stubborn.
In another vegetable patch - 5 ft x 14 ft - had to take out weeds, tall grass and other intruders.
Re: Another new season, another clean slate, hope springs eternal
Measure the vegetables garden. It’s only 10 ft x 6 ft where I am digging.
Today cumulative digging minutes 50 minutes. The crabgrass growth direction is more horizontal than a Glen Maxwell fancy shot.
Yesterday during running the feet had a burning sensation. Related to arch in the feet and shoe. Even the insert from shoe store after imaging feet didn’t help.
Went to the track. Walked 2 rounds. Then took off shows and ran barefoot. Did 3 rounds. No pain. Walked 300m. Then ran 1.5 rounds briskly. No pain. (Except for the underside of feet having gone soft - so the track protrusions did hurt the feet.
Will buy those “barefoot” running shoes. Go back to roots. Nothing like feeling the ground under you while running.
