We didn't quite have -34 WC weather. More like 50 Deg F. Came to track after 2 weeks. And one week of under the weather. Did some jogging and walking for 8 rounds. New start. 1 step back, 1.2 steps forward.

I did an extensive workout today; why? because…

Some mithai came our way on Sunday night and like a bay-sharam I ate two gulaab jamuns within 5 mins… and in the same night 1 ras gula…half a pateesa…Went to put my kids to bed, came back to see half the ladoo was gone; (my husband took a bite) gave him a death stare and scarfed that down as well with a cup of chai…I’m surprised I am still alive :halo:

People stop sending this punjaban mithai…there is no inner voice that says no :frowning:

Those who run do you listen to any music and on. What? When I used to run I used my phone with the ear phone but they used to pop out very annoying

went to track Sunday also. Did stationary bike yesterday 1h. Half hr lunch time walk we'd and Thursday.

^ no music. Old school. No technology.

I put on dramas ( Pakistani ones) on my phone or iPad while doing the elliptical. Nothing motivates me to do more minutes than reaching the end of the show.

The only artist familiar from Royals list is Beyonce! I must be out of touch with current music.

I guess music or drama is a good idea. Whatever works. If you live where it is reasonably rustic, nature can be powerful. Squirrels are the best. Duck, geese are entertaining.

This weekend Friday 1h stationary bike. Saturday 4 laps in track. Then some weights and.situps pushups.

Sunday was a bum. Caught up on tons of newspapers backlog.

1 Mile walk during lunch. One Mike walk post dinner with wife.

Not the best workout. But everything counts. One tiny step forward.

Do you use cordless or corded? Mine stay put during whole run and workout. I don't have very expensive ones though. Targus cordless Bluetooth costed me $35. Might be even cheaper now.

Never tried dramas but I do put on political talk shows at times but most of the time its random playlist from my Google Music collection.

PS: Just came back from lunch walk ...2 miles in 30 min. I looked funny though in dress shirt, casual khakis and running shoes....but hey ...who care... :D

Well, whatever floats your boat. I don't think men are necessarily interested in dramas. The lunch hour walks are getting popular though. I have seen many people dressed up and walking, in teams too!

BTW, my X boss (a gora) did observe that mostly in Brampton and mentioned it to me that there are many sikhs who were dress pants, shirt and running shoes :slight_smile:

I was like "perhaps they dont care much about how they look but care much about how comfortable they are " :k:

^ yes I need a chuckle now n then so I memorize such visuals

My husband comes home from the gym and informs me of such 'uncles' how none of them know how to use the equipment and/or just hanging from the chin-up bar.....or or or one dude sprayed himself with a water bottle while looking at himself in the mirror.....so then I chuckle some more
