Another Monster in Making?

Re: Another Monster in Making?

Did Nawaz Sharif fall from heavens? He is the most influential and biggest by-product of Zia's rule.

Re: Another Monster in Making?

You're ignorant. Go to his website and READ what PTI has to say. They have a 100 day plan and a more detailed economic blueprint which they are not announcing as PMLN basically imitates everything they do from their SMS campaign (right down to the number) to their social initiatives. It'll be out before election day though.

Re: Another Monster in Making?

:konfused: Are you saying that PTI has a plan for betterment of ppl, but they don’t want to disclose just for the fear of PMLN imitating it and getting popularity by implementing it for betterment of ppl.

Re: Another Monster in Making?

Still need to see what exactly PTI is saying or doing to be considered 'monster' in making.

Re: Another Monster in Making?

Hi Guyfawkes,

Lets try to have conclusive discussion here, i am of the opinion that PTI is nothing but Monster in Making whereas you differ from it, it is your right to have that opinion and i am sure you must have some solid reasons for that.

Anyway, like is said, lets try to make the discussion conclusive, and let see if you can come up with the comments which can change my point of view, i am entering into this discussion with open heart and mind would like to have same from you.

So here we go:

1) PTI/IK claims that they are going to win next general elections, i am sure you are aware of the fact that there are 272 seats in National assembly distributed across the country and in order to form govt in the Islamabad. Now the situation is that PTI is almost non-existent at UC level, yes they may have representation at District level but that is also limited to certain areas and not through out the country.

Now i am sure you are aware of the importance of the Union Council team and its efforts in building momentum and finally convincing people to vote on the given day. With literally no representation at UC level, how PTI thinks that it can win elections? where the competitor of PTI (PPP and PML-N to name few) do have this set-up in almost all the districts and they would be using it on the day.

The Point here i am trying to make is, how can anyone win any election when they lack the very basics of the parliamentarian form of govt. Please remember that in Pakistan, it is not the Presidential form of govt. where voters can vote their president. One have to win the considerable amount of seats to form govt or have the role of opposition.

Can you please tell us in the light above, in free and fair elections how can PTI win when the basic bodies who mobilizes people on the day are missing?

==================================================================

Now the un-official but dedicated and maybe only respected column writer of PTI says that PML-N and PPP have jointly made their plans to rig the upcoming elections. What is he trying to say? if any of the two forms govt. then it would be illegitimate govt? and then the rest can be assumed easily, agitation against the illegitimate govt or is he trying to say to GHQ that the electoral process is dubious so no need of them, just put in the most popular party in power for cleansing?

Can you please tell us if that is what PTI also believes or if PTI is working on mitigate the situation, things i have stated earlier ( no organization structure at root level) are enough to say that no one would be needing any rigging plan to curb PTI's candidate...

==============================================================

I would restrict myself to the above two points only, lets discuss them and then move on to the others, on a lighter note, IMRAN KHAN once announced that PTI being the party of the young ones would not have candidates who is above 30 years of age. Does that mean, IK himself is not going to contest elections?

Re: Another Monster in Making?

^^ Sorry, I'm lost. PTI is a monster because it's not organized at UC level therefore it will not win elections, because a columnist says PMLN and PPP wil rig the process (all the more reason for any sane voter to ditch them) and that IK is not putting in young candidates?

You're masking your contempt for IK which has become fashionable because the guy is too decent to answer back any criticism and just keeps on working on what he has to do for the nation.

And bearing in mind all the points you mention, why do you care at all for PTI? As you said, it doesn't stand a chance, so why waste your precious time my friend?

Re: Another Monster in Making?

Dear Poster,

If you think that you have enough knowledge on PTI then please take part in discussion on the points i have raised, if you think you do not have, then let us wait for some other member of PTI to show up and take the discussion on.

I was asked by you and others to show how PTI is MONSTER in MAKING, now i begun the discussion on the very same and raise few on the many points i have to make, then you try to go here and there.

It is OK if you don't have the answers of all or any of them, it is totally understandable but in this case, please observe some patience, the i have categorically mentioned that i am starting a conclusive discussion to prove my point, i don't know which part you miss, so please if you want to discuss something on the point well n good, if you cannot discuss on them, then still it is ok, but in the later case, you need to have patience until somebody answers them and we get to the conclusion... Am i clear now?

Re: Another Monster in Making?

^^ No you're rambling just for the sake of rambling, all over the place. Please explain how PTI is a monster in the making will you?

Re: Another Monster in Making?

Please read post number 48 and then read post number 46 again.

and if you think i am rambling then why are you bothered? i wonder why PTI or its supporters are not willing to answer above, when i have categorically said that answering these would prove my point but alas i guess discussing something is not what PTI is good at ,

PS: i had similar problems on other forums with MQM and SSP...

Re: Another Monster in Making?

If you're going to call a political party that organizes peaceful sit-ins with performances by Pakistan's leading pop-acts (e.g. Strings, Ali Azmat to name a few) a "monster in the making" you'll have to come up with some hard facts rather than derailing the discussion with their election strategy which is another issue altogether. Sorry, this one's looking like an epic-fail from your end.

Re: Another Monster in Making?

I think you have got no Idea about what i have said above, i would agree on the on the first sentence you used for yourself in post number 47.

I think it would be best to wait for somebody with more knowledge on PTI affairs and let him/her answer the point i raised. till then you and I can wait. can we?

BTW, Just for you Info, I would spread this message on almost all the web forums related to Pakistan, i hope somebody would answer these. or May be, i'll be able to save people from feeding the Monster-in-Making..

Re: Another Monster in Making?

^^ I think you just wanted to take aimless potshots, when attention was called to the obvious, you want to discuss election strategy. It's really silly. I'd say grow up but it's clear you're well past your prime.

Re: Another Monster in Making?

MQM can have any pop-star in their Jalsa or Sit-in, if that is the credibility... any way that was side-note...

Re: Another Monster in Making?

Thank you for you comments,

now lets wait for the real response!

Re: Another Monster in Making?

^^ You're more than welcome, but you've failed in explaining the title of your thread abt a zombie-invasion by PTI. If you cannot explain your original contention then there is no room for any discussion.

Re: Another Monster in Making?

Please read post number 50 and 52 and if still haven't got the answer, please read it, the answer is there.

Re: Another Monster in Making?

^^ There is absolutely zilch in your ramblings that links moster-zombie theory to election strategy. Show me the association between the two.

Re: Another Monster in Making?

^^ I would rather have my discussion with some sensible person from PTI, I am sure they have got some, even MQM have got handful of those, this would be my last reply to you in this thread and would only consider replying you if you try to answer the points i have raised.

as for your this comment please read post number 57. You are making me wonder if you are actually reading it or just wasting your time here.

wonder if everything i have said is rambling then why it is bothering you to that much? anyway, that is not my business, please carry on from running away to get to the point where you will be labeled as MONSTER-IN-MAKING.

Re: Another Monster in Making?

I repeat: I need to see the association between the monster theory and your desire for discussing election strategy. NOW.
