AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

the question is should force be used on your own people? the sardars are exploiting the situation. the longer the conflict lasts, the more baloch will hate pakistan.

poltical resoltions are a must - short and long term.

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

The Baloch people are Pakistanis, the Baloch sardars, those that continue to attack and betray the country, and other traitors, are not Pakistanis and thus dont count.

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

Oh Baboo Khan! Bring back a Baloch Sardar who is man enough to sign on the dotted line. Political solutions are not achieved by detonating land mines.

Paper work man! paper work. "Exploitative Sardars" don't believe in paperwok, so the gunships have to be brought in. Sorry to say but that is the last resort.

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

Maybe a good number of Pashtoons are poor in Punjab. But I personally know a good number of very succesful Pathans in Punjabm atleast in my area around Chakwal. Also, its a well known fact that Pashtoon have reduced labor costs in many parts and have taken labor from poor punjabis.
Pashtoons also control many industries especially transportation in Sindh and other places. These are jobs that Punjabis and Sindhis could be doing.
And its a fact that Pathans are succesful bussinesmen across Pakistan, especially in Karachi. Yet they are tolerated.

balochistan zindabad

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

for your information i tell you that the balochs from makran are greatest baloch nationalists than the balochs from rest of the balochistan. Dont show your nature and dont break us as like our bengali brothers you people broke.you also called them like this. the reality is that in punjab there is the majority of sariekke and baloch people.the whole southern punjab belongs to balochs and sarieekees and punjabis even not only called them slaves but not the human beings. every one in pakistan is fed up of punjabis the bengalis, balochs, sindis, sarieekes, mohajiris and pushtoons you broke pakistan before this not to break balochistan. whatever sardar mengal said about punjabis you proved it. we will get our rights.

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

There are many succesful Pasthuns living in Punjab and Karachi, although the vast majoirty are poor. People have complained that they have stolen low wage jobs from locals, but that is another matter.
Cantonements do exist in Punjab aswell, and many injustices have been done to the people of Punjab by the govt or Army or who ever.
Pathans in our villages would be kicked out IF they did something wrong, but there are many MANY incidents where nothing has been done to them. I can give you examples. Still the same logic applies to Punjabies living in NWFP or anywhere else, if they cause trouble then they will most likely be kicked out aswell… Regardless, Punjabis, or Sindhis or whoever else goes to the Pathan areas will still be a minority the same way Pathans are minority in Punjab.
Makran will obviously change a lot if Gawadar port is a success.. This is called change.. Trying to stand in the way of progress AND CHANGE is useless. Any Progress tht occurs in balochistan or anywhere else will mean that because Balochistan has such a small population, that outsiders will have to come in to fill in some of the job demands. There is no way this can be avoided, and as regretable as this sounds, people will have to come to terms with it. There are places all over Pakistan that have had to change with the arrival of foreigners. Look at Karachi and even some parts of Punjab have had to deal with change.

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

Before anything else let me tell you about our Iranian Baloch brothers and sisters. As far as I am concerned all Baloch are the same in my eyes - whether they are ruled by Iran, or by Pakistan or anywhere else. Nobody has a right to make distinction among Baloch or separate other Baloch as someone different

That's why he is a BALOCH leader and not a PAKISTANI leader.
Why didn't i ever feel the same for Indian PUNJABIS????(let it be Sikhs, hindus or muslims). I can't imagine calling an Indian Punjabi as my brother and prefer him/her over any Sindi/Balochi/Pashtun/ Mohajir etc just because we speak the same language, culture (and even religion in some cases).

I do have Sikh friends, i don't really consider them enemies or hate them but at the end of the day, Pakistanis (Have Sindhi/Mohajir/Pashtun friends but only one Baloch because i have never come across any other Baloch) are MUCH MUCH closer to me and i would always prefer their friendship over any INDIAN (no offence to anyone, it's just natural) *Punjabi. *

On the other hand, Balochis consider Iranian Balochis as their brothers or Pashtuns for that matter but hate Punjabis in general (Urdu speakers to some extent as well), i haven't come across a single Pakistani Punjabi ever who had anything negative to say about Balochis.

You can blame ESTABLISHMENT (didn't say they haven't done anything) for all the problems but some of these people are HIGHLY biased.

In the end, LAANAT on Punjabi establishment for causing all these differences between ethnicities but at the same time LAANAT on these sardars as well for neglecting their own people and handing them GUNS rather than "Books". These antics would have MUCH worse effect on people of Balochistan than what ESTABLISHMENT did.

Great post pakpatriot, i can't believe these people do NOT want any development in the area just because others will benfit from it as well.
They are asking for RIGHTS but don't want any development in the are at the same time????? Do they want a written assurance from government that NOT a single Punjabi can enter Gwadar, only then they will let it go ahead??????

In the end, they can see Balochi people suffer just because others would gain something.

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

Of course Balochi’s tell the true situation in Balochistan, but those outside, and those who have never even been to Balochistan (ie.mysterious idiot) always think they know better and come up with all kinds of excuses

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

Sure… But the Makranis will probably benefit more then you. They are the ones who actually want the development in that area.

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

There is nothing to understand… If in ten years time, the Province isnt bettered due to such projects as Gawadar port etc, then I will sit in your camp and wave the banner of freedom. But as it is, this level of development work is unprescdented in Balochistan. You can go on and on about their rights being violated, but all most of us see is the opposite. Why not just wait and see?

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

Fair enough, but as for waiting and seeing, we have been waiting for over 50 years.

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

What do you mean by WE???

Of course Balochi’s tell the true situation in Balochistan, but those outside, and those who have never even been to Balochistan (ie.mysterious idiot) always think they know better and come up with all kinds of excuses.

When did i say the problem doesn’t exist , read my last two posts and tell me what excuses i came up with??? Tu tou AKHROT ka AKHROT hi rahega so why should i bother what you think abou me.:hoonh:

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

Every single development project comes with a boatload of politicians and their slogans, while the results are almost always never up to the promises.

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

Yeah, but up till now they have never had this level of development in the province either… This is truly unprescendented in the history of Balochistan.
And wait and see would be great if it werent for the fact that Balochis are going around blowing up everything that moves…

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

The potential in Gawadar is HUGE… If it is managed right, it could well more then what the govt has promised… Although it seems doubtful considering the terrorists running around… Gawadar could very well be the next Dubai, except that dubai didnt have to deal with Terorists..

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

Dubai also didn't have to deal with another ethnicity and its army controlling everything.

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

That is exactly the attitude that causes trouble.

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

Dubai pays the protection money direct to American soldiers posted in the region. Believe me the GIs charge are in $$ and not in Rupees.

Dubai has used its police to curb everything that was remotely Mullahtic. Casinos, wine, pork is there if a tourist wants it.

For Pakistanis and other desis, they sell gold jewelry. So there is something for everyone.

By crushing Mullahtic groups, they have dramatically increased the number of foreign airlines using airport services.

Guess what, all these Airlines used to come to Karachi for fuel and services. We couldn't control our Mullahtics and ethno-fascists. The result has been a terrible toll on my city's economy.

We thought that we can't get rid of ethno-fascists of Karachi so Gawader may be a good option.

Guess what, this time we got the same ethno-$hite again. May be this is the luck of our region. Sad utterly sad!
