AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

Well, the whole project may actually be a failure if sabotage and acts of terrorism such as the murder of foreigners is not checked…
So who will you blame then? The govt or the terrorists.
Its like the old Chicken or egg questions isnt it.

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

Balochis would jump with joy if their relationship with Punjab would be anything like UAE's relationship with US. Most of them want autonomy anyway, not independence.

The local people always have right over their region. When will you all get it in your heads that no one likes others telling them what to do. That has always been the problem with Pakistani rulers and their mentality. They just cannot accept that there are people in Pakistan who do not think like them. God forbid someone not wanting a huge megaport in their backyard for everyone to come in and take advantage of.

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

Oh Baba Tali do haat say bajti hai (it takes two...).
Amrericans are nice to good Arabs (like in UAE).
Americans kick @$$ of not-so-good Arabs (like in Iraq).

Good Arabs mean less tribal, and they work with US for "mutual" interests.
Bad Arabs mean more tribal, and they work against US interests.

Hope you got the point about Balochis too.

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

I do get the point. I guess Balochs want something more then the Arab-US relationship in Pakistan.

Re: AN INTERVIEW OF SARDAR MENGAL

On one side you praise US-Arab deals and now you switch your pantera!

People in groups make deals. Some give and take.

Weak side (with no army backing) always gives more and takes less. Still the deal has to be done. If no deal then Cobras show up at your door.

Read history of Panama dude. US wanted the canal area from Columbia and offered 10million. Columbia refused.

Next thing, there was a coup and Panama now got 10 million and the canal was built.

Gawadar will be built as well. If Baloch Sardars want some moolah, they should stretch their hand and get what they can. Or at least make a counter offer.

Still the deal has to be done on the table and not by blowing up the table. Kapeesh!
