ALL THE GIRLS HERE

Re: ALL THE GIRLS HERE

soni27 i wear an abaya and hijab but does that mean i have become a maulvian? i think i am far from that. It does not mean if you start wearing it that you will become a maulvian. This comment hurt me, i am sorry to say. Elegance i hope so too:)
Samra well we appreciate you saying the truth, it is ok. Before when i did not used to wear it and i went to saudi i also wore it because everyone wore it and because my dad told me about the mutawahs. Now i dont mind, i feel naked without an abaya. I feel awkward at functions and parties and stuff.

Re: ALL THE GIRLS HERE

my hubby was in search of any hijaab niqaab wali biwi....so he got married to me.n now he always encourages me.

exactly same wid me

Re: ALL THE GIRLS HERE

oh really good to know someone who feels the same way like me :)

Ok, I wear a headscarf but not an abaya, unless im in Dubai or Pakistan. I like to wear it in Dubai bcos its light and airy and I feel like I fit in well with the environment. However, if im staying in a hotel I dont wear it within the grounds.

In Pakistan, i occasionally wear the niqab in the close neighbourhood bcos of the father-in-law. He didnt command me to wear it, but he did suggest it would b a good idea and it would make him happy if i did it. And also bcos the people in the neighbourhood consider it a grave sin if a woman shows her face in public. And also bcos the men in the neighbourhood consider it an open invitation to STARE at the niqabless woman as if she is walking around with nothing on.

Re: ALL THE GIRLS HERE

hai same here!!! i feel naked too agar abaya na pehno!!! wow so that makes it fazeelat u and me who feel the same way!!! :D

im tp not fazeelat aisha.:layd:

Re: ALL THE GIRLS HERE

i meant fazeelat, you and me all feel the same way. That not wearing it makes us feel naked or something:)

no b/c if my hubby is marrying me, i feel there is an implicit agreement to accept me as i am. someone might say it's nice to suggest improvements to each other, but i am content with my current state. Just as a side note, i wonder how many husbands would be ok with their wife suggesting them to follow Sunnah and grow a beard..?
