ALL THE GIRLS HERE

will you start wearing abaya and hijab after marriage, if your husband asks you? or would you do it on your own?

If not, why not?

Re: ALL THE GIRLS HERE

zayma that is good to know that you might wear it, so what are your thought about it ?

Re: ALL THE GIRLS HERE

i think ppl should wear it if they r really practising islam not because their husbands told them to do, cos then i dont think most women feel comfortable with it, if i do wear it i will start with scraf then hijab then the niqaab so take it slowly

Re: ALL THE GIRLS HERE

yeh that is true but this has happened to many of my friends, their family is a bit religious and because the guy's mom wears it, the guy asked the wife. that is why i was asking this question here. yeah that is good, but you dont necessarily have to go to niqaab:)

Re: ALL THE GIRLS HERE

shining jee mai bus aapko batado the word sex does not only mean intercourse...

sex is referred to the female/male...

and the word intercourse itself is not that bad, in old english times having communications with other people was called intercourse and that is from where we have the word discourse as well :) ...

yeh sarey loog sex "sex" ke bare mai baat nahi kar rahe :) ...

Re: ALL THE GIRLS HERE

hmmm.. I think it'd depend on his character.. like if he himself was practising and stuff then I'd know he is asking me to wear it for the right reasons. If however, he was like one of those hypocritical guys who have different rules themselves and different rules for their wives then I guess I wouldn't think I should listen to him..

But generally, I think I'd wear it without him asking me to anyway..

Re: ALL THE GIRLS HERE

hey inzu that is a very good point you brought up, i did not tihnk about it from this angle. thanx mate!

Re: ALL THE GIRLS HERE

I'd give it a try if I was asked and encouraged. No way, if I was forced.

that is a fair enough answer :)

Well, I already wear hijab, but if he tells me that he would like me to wear abaya as well, I will go ahead, as long as it's not being forced on me, like Sahar pointed out. :)

I dont like any one dictating me how to dress or live my life. So to answer your question NO.

[mod]I have cleaned up yet another thread in Life1. Let's please stick to the topic and refrain from flooding[/mod]

Re: ALL THE GIRLS HERE

if her hubby says to wear niqaab or hijaab....she should do it if she loves and respects her hubby.
coz niqaab or hijaab is not a bad thing atleast, it is Farz for women.

ur hubby is not any1...Quran says ...

*tum (hubbys) auraton ka libaas ho aur wo tumahara libas hein

*n i wish k sab ko aisy hubbys millay jo unko seddhay raasty ke taraf laaein

Alright AE :cb:

Ok so I dont want my husband to dictate me.

Re: ALL THE GIRLS HERE

Alright bebo :) but now the question is, will you ever have a change of heart?

Re: ALL THE GIRLS HERE

if ur husband has knowledge abt religion so he will definitely guide u to the right path....

but yes ager Allah ko ap per reham aya tabhi wo apko aisa husband dein gy jo apko Allah ke merzi k mutabik bana saky.

Re: ALL THE GIRLS HERE

wesy i dont know why grls think its **hawwa **to wear niqaab n hijaab?

Re: ALL THE GIRLS HERE

I wear a scarf. Some guys have asked me if I'd be willing to take it off if my spouse asked me to, I told them no.
