All kinds of hair delimmas- HERE

Re: All kinds of hair delimmas- HERE

^ i think i'll have to give it a miss or see if i can try and find a similar product in hair accesory retailors

I know I didn't describe it well. It's hard without images.

I usually apply Bed Head's "Superstar" volumizing cream, and then blow dry, to get extra lift.

Re: All kinds of hair delimmas- HERE

^ it's just when i sweep over the smooth hair after putting on the tikka jhoomer it will cover the jhoomer won't it?

Please get me the brand name - i really need one you would be doing me a huge favour.

I would put the jhoomer on after, but the tikka before. I've never put a jhoomer on myself. Just worn one on the wedding day.

Re: All kinds of hair delimmas- HERE

^i think it gonna be so difficult to keep the volume after applying all the jewellery

Re: All kinds of hair delimmas- HERE

^ The main source of volume comes from giving lift at the back/top.

Backcombing combined with hairspray will keep u're hair in place.. the jhoomar/tikka isn't that heavy!

Re: All kinds of hair delimmas- HERE

Hair thickening sprays like Tigi or John Frieda work great or alternatively extensions, I've got synthetic extensions in mine but u can get human hair that can be styled just like real hair or clip-in ones instead of regular extensions that stay in and in good condition around 4 months, also looks great if u want to add highlights or lowlights.

Re: All kinds of hair delimmas- HERE

^thanks girls i don't think i'll add extensions as i have very long hair backcombing and loadsa hair spray it is

Re: All kinds of hair delimmas- HERE

Re: All kinds of hair delimmas- HERE

The volume did not stay with backcombing and hairspray but i found something to put underneath so im sorted thanks girls for your advice

Wedding hair

So did u guys grow ur hair for ur wedding? what kinda style did u have for the wedding? and for the valima? and any wedding hair no, no's?

Im tryin to grow my hair for the wedding at times I feel like just gettin it cut bob length ! but keep holdin my self back :(

Re: Wedding hair

aww totally know what u mean...my fiance wants me to grow my hair super long..well for the shaadi pakistan's fashion is the mang pati style so have ur hair parted in the middle with a french bun in the back a bit raised a bit of backcombing looks really nice..for the walima girls usually get half way up with curls coming down with a jhoomar on the side and tikka in the middle ..try to do different things both days..DONT CUT UR HAIR..itll be hard to work with unless you get extensions lol

Re: Wedding hair

Oh I can total sympathise! I was instructed to grow my hair by the lady who will be doing my hair and make up. I have grown it but can't wait until I can cut it as I love short hair! Having said that my long hair does look nice but it's a lot to manage!

Re: Wedding hair

Same here. I want to cut it so bad but I can't. Long hair takes forever to blow dry and straighten.

Re: Wedding hair

I wanted to put my hair in loose ringlets Goldilocks style but my Mum thinks it doesn't look elegant enough :(

Re: Wedding hair

Don`t forget that you can get those human hair extensions that clips in and your hair looks naturaly long, when your wedding is over, you can just unclip them:)

Re: Wedding hair

starcity what is the shape of your face? Find a hairstyle that goes accordingly with that.

Re: Wedding hair

I have seen brides getting complicated hairstyles for the big day. Dunt you think its the hardest thing to actually undo your hair. What if you dunt want to keep the style for the rest of the night and u r feeling uncomfortable.
