All kinds of hair delimmas- HERE

Re: Hair Dilema #2!!

If the sari palu isnt very heavy and you just carefully drap it over your head without pinning it down in hundred places then I think it should be ok!

If she has it up for the nikkah itll take longer to wash and dry but if she already has it blow dried she can easliy have someone pin it up for the reception and not have to worry about washing it or if she has no time she can leave it as it is...no?

ive also heard of people using a different dupatta over their head during the nikkah rather than the pallu of the sari. One girl I knew wore her mother's shaadi dupatta and a sari during the nikkah. If you're worried about the weight, you could maybe buy a separate, very light dupatta.

Why not get the other side threaded, u're makeup artist shud be able to correct that with threading and contouring as well.

Add extensions to add volume to u're hair.. a nice updo is u're best option..it looks neater and u wont have to pin u're pallu to u're head.. u can drape it lightly and remove it easily for the next event.

Re: Hair Dilema #2!!

^ Yeah, I think that's the best option. This sounds like a hectic day, I wouldn't add too many things to complicate it.

thanks guys!

in your experiences, what kind of updo is easiest to manage??? post pictures if possible please! i kinda like the cute messy updos or the victorian styles. are those okay to manage?

Re: Hair dilemma # 03

rather than threading (cuz it probably would hurt like a B*&#$(##$*!!), why not part your hair to the side where ur hair line is uneven? live comb it over? the side part will look really classy. and is it necessary to wear a jummer? you can just wear a tikkah underneath your hair.

i couldn’t find it online but plan on going to the store later on this week so if anything i’ll take a picture of it and get the brand name and hopefully u can order it from that.

Also a friend of mine got this product, it doesn’t really work unless you pin half your hair up but here’s a link:

BUMP IT UP!

Re: Hair Dilemma - Please Help

all the hair dilemma threads have been merged.

Re: All kinds of hair delimmas- HERE

this sucks because there are three different conversations going on in here

**I had never THREADED the area, hot-wax is the option I use always, and its less painfull.

I couldnt side-part, dont like the style for barat (I alraedy had it at Nikkah), couldnt even had it at Walima (I have matha-pati for the day)..

Couldnt leave Jhoomar for the bridal day, I love it,,, and I have a BIG one to cover the un-even part.
**

U can use hot wax as well.. make u're hairline more even and that's it! I don't really think a side-parting works with a teeka and jhoomar..

Im in UK so can’t order from there

Add height to the front.. and keep it all pulled-back (it doesnt have to be really tight and gelled-back) slightly backcombed and then pulled back looks nice with a jhoomar and teeka..

Gina how do i keep the back combed volume after setting the jhoomer and tikka it falls down?

I don't have that skinny face just it looks long when all my hair is back

Good tip Sahar thanks will try this as i am having a trial on w/end

Re: All kinds of hair delimmas- HERE

Some of you might call me crazy and this is a bit far fetched, but consider this for those days when you must have no fail volume Bumpits - Hair Volumnizing Inserts - BUMP IT UP!

I think I just might get myself one! Yikes! Gotta rock that big TX hair!

Re: All kinds of hair delimmas- HERE

^looks like a great product and i would have bought one but not available in UK i don't think anyway

I know they ship to Canada, but I'm not aware of anywhere beyond that. eBay has tons up for sale right now, you'll have to inquire about international shipping though!
