What Isa :as: drank has been translated from Latin to mean wine, however it was not wine, as in the wine we mean it to be…It was more of juices rather than wine itself…

Its bettere not to pass judgment regarding the faithulness of muslims, I have not seen any such verdict by a scholar that a habitual drinker is not a muslim. If you claim so then you should show the proof… But better do it in religion forum, this thread is not suitable for such discussion

I have few simple rules which I follow; Do not drink and drive period. Never drink alone, thats when you get stuck with it. Always drink with a good company so you might learn something in the discussions. Never ever drink just because it's available. Or rather I know when to stop. Don't drink if you are on medication. You never know how it might react with the medication. And unless it's an occasion I never drink in routine.
I believe it's a decent high without hurting anybody in the process.

do you realize you are making a fool of yourself. Do you know the difference between Wine and Vine?
Wine = alcoholic drink
Vine = “vine” is a generic term for all climbing plants, specifically referred to, in those times for the Grape plant.
p.s. as a side note, I believe that since wine was a beverage of luxury in those days, Hazrat Isa did infact drink the alcoholic drink, brought to him by his sahabis…who obviously thought of him as a rightful king.

The Basics, the facts, in simple English.
Initially, please don’t give the discussion a personal overtone. Why do I drink, am I retarded , sexually deprived, emotionally repressed, depressed, that’s not the scope of the discussion. The discourse is about, >>don’t ridicule and pass fatwa’s on a person who drinks ,if you do, then do the same thing with the pedophilic, bribe accepting, corrupt clergy of Pakistan in general, and NWFP in particular.

okay Its time I come clean. I drink and enjoy sharab, its something I got used to from an early age, my parents liked sharab, and even my older sister. my wife drinks sharab as well. I really dont see what is the big deal about it. It is available freely, and no one stops you from buying it, I actually am sipping on some right now as I type. I dont know of a single person in my family who does not like it and does not drink sharab. I have one cousin in pakistan who does not drink sharab but she thinks it is going to get her fat due to high calrories so her reasosn are very different.
So all of you guys can come with your holier than thou approaches as if you have never done anything wrong or questionable.
I love sharab tuffah and sharab burtaqaal.
