Afghan civil war - Pakistan's options

Re: Afghan civil war - Pakistan’s options

Peace process in 1990s… like one warlord running over the other :hehe:

Re: Afghan civil war - Pakistan's options

No, Afghans were far more merciful in their civil war. In Pakistan you will see rivers of blood. You know this better than me.

Re: Afghan civil war - Pakistan’s options

Like droning and Ahral Hindh type … more to follow … just keep watching…

Re: Afghan civil war - Pakistan’s options

Pakistan doesn’t sound loud

Re: Afghan civil war - Pakistan’s options

Karwa is comming, Pakistan is at the dawn of a war. Where as others have been in their night. So expect some karwa.

Re: Afghan civil war - Pakistan's options

They feel comfortable cause of the cash they have invested and are silly in their judgement.

Re: Afghan civil war - Pakistan’s options

And it is as comparable to one war-lord turning towns into rubble… yeah, very comparable :hehe:

Re: Afghan civil war - Pakistan's options

Pakistanis must be doing something right or may have something under control to not end up like Afghanistan...or Iraq or Syria for that matter. If your next comment is going to be something along the lines of 'just wait and watch and soon rivers of blood will flow from Pakistan' then what can I say? We are talking about a country who wasn't even expected to survive a year of independence and look far we've come despite always being at the dawn of a war. I do know that there could have been Pakistan before there's Syria.

Slowly but surely, Pakistan is putting its house in order and they will succeed in reaching a certain level of peace and stability, if not outright perfection and prosperity. I would think it's basic courtesy and human decency to wish your neighbours well and hope for the best, I'm sure I can have you in agreement on this.

Re: Afghan civil war - Pakistan's options

Again, Pakistan's only option is to distance iteself from Afghanistan's politics. Let India fill in the blank. No need to commit the same mistake again and again. Pakistan will be sole loser. Pakistan's focus should be get Afghan refugees out from Pakistan and make solid wall between the two countries. No one should cross the border without legal documents. Operation clean up refugees should start from Karachi.

Re: Afghan civil war - Pakistan's options

One allegation made by our friend was that punjabis and Sindhis hate Pashtuns and Baloch. An example was cited that Punjab and Sindh are closing their boundaries for Pashtuns. Even a cursory knowledge of the country would have put this allegation to rest. The testimony is that Pashtuns have increased in Punjab and Sindh during the past 10 years as a result of internally displaced people. The provincial governments have been too lax in this which can be seen to some extent in Karachi. There are dirty eggs in all ethnicities but by and large the population does not have any issues with each other.

Re: Afghan civil war - Pakistan's options

Pakistan can use all its power to build a wall but pakhtoons will not allow it. Pakistani workers are welcome in afghanistan so they can earn and support their families. Afghans wish them a good life.

Re: Afghan civil war - Pakistan's options

Enjoy the Mullah Omar as your Amir-ul-Mominen. That is what Pakistan choose for Afghanistan.

Re: Afghan civil war - Pakistan's options

That is because Punjab is the hub of all terrorist that are sent to pakhtoon land to destroy their livelihood and make them IDP so the vaccum is filled by ISI backed taliban. You need to speak to the IDPs and they will tell you the double story of ISI and Army.

Re: Afghan civil war - Pakistan’s options

Enjoy the peace zone… other countries are busy creating free economic zones…

Re: Afghan civil war - Pakistan's options

And currently Afghanistan is hosting TTP swat and other factions in their eastern parts? Can we say that they have a role in the slaughter of Pakistani Pashtuns?

Re: Afghan civil war - Pakistan's options

Well Afghanistan is not going to set laid back and beg for mercy from Pakistan. Afghan Taliban are killed on a regular basis in Pakistan and their presence is denied by Pakistan. Afghanistan has no option but to retaliate and pay Pakistan with the same coin. Just keep on watching the movie of the TTP and what they will do to the state of Pakistan. No one in Pakistan dares speaking against them otherwise they will be shot dead. TTP have supporters in political parties, army etc. They even have courts in FATA, KPK and Karachi and this is the reality Pakistan will have to face.

Sad state of affair and common people will lose their lives, property and honour.

Re: Afghan civil war - Pakistan's options

I'd like to try what you are smoking.

Re: Afghan civil war - Pakistan's options

So you support Afghanistan's support to TTP knowing that these people kill Pashtuns mostly. Your previous sentiments regarding plight of Pakistani Pashtuns ring hollow now.

Yes there are no Taliban in Southern and Eastern Afghanistan.

Re: Afghan civil war - Pakistan's options

I am saying that Afghan Taliban are housed by ISI and they kill Afghans, so Afghan gov't has the right to defend itself by creating and supporting proxies. Play the same game. Pakistan started it and now it is getting paid with the same coin.

Re: Afghan civil war - Pakistan's options

Don't waste your money on smoking rather donate that to the malnourished people in Thar will do them some good at least.
